Haha, do what i did!
Went to the local Renault garage, asked about mats for the Cup, they offered me 2 types, the normal Clio ones, or some special ones that cost a fortune!
Well, me being me, i got a bit curious, so i ordered the special ones, they turned out to be the sound...
You should have got a 3yr Transferable warranty with the cup, so it should be ok, if they try anything on, just start shouting and stomping your feet in the showroom (i always find a little tantrum works wonders!), either that, or take your lass with you, and get her to start crying her eyes out...
jpmad4it2, im in Wakefield if you want to pop over the tops one day, about 45miles from Burnley to Wakey, you can have a go of my wikkle cup if you like!

A Cup.....in Wakefield....with thumbs up......never!
;)
Only seen myself, a nice young lass driving one and some other geezer grinning madly driving Cups in the Wakefield area!
Ha,
not nice!
I hit a badger once in an old fiesta, the F****R ripped the front skirt/valence off, tore the exhaust off as it went under the car, put a few dents in the floorpan and bent the rear skirt/valence! Cost about £600 to put right!!
Wouldnt mind, but the F****R just...
Not sure about the Cup, but the ones in the Saxo VTS were to do with the ABS system, and airbag deployment (IIRC), probably worth taking a trip to halfords and reading the haynes manual as to wht they actually do.
fastest my mate ;) has been?
My Mates cars:
Saxo VTS: Off the clock 140mph +
Clio Cup: 140mph indicated
Letting my Mates Dad drive who used to be a pursuit driver for the Police: 165mph with all blues blazing!
The one in warrington has been on that site for ages. i spotted it back in about March. I believe it was when Ranult offered dealers the chance to pre-register cars on an 03 plate to sell on at a lower price to generate a lot more interest.
Went to get some mats today for my Cup, and got told there were 2 different types. The standard Clio ones for £30 or some special Cup ones for £150 pounds. Anyone know what these look like?
Part number for the Cup mats is 7701207149
Cheers

Hes right about the alarm, i have a Sir-Tiffy-Cat that states my Cup has had an alarm fitted. My delivery date was 26th June, but guess what is sat outside my house now!
;)
I sold my VTS a couple of weeks ago and get a Cup tomorrow. When i test drove the Cup, i can honestly say it didnt feel very different up to 60, but i think you would be hard pressed to actually distinguish 1 secish 0-60, as it all happens so quickly. I will say though, that in 3rd/4th/5th, it...
Yeah, you should be able to get quite a bit off the list price, i pick my 03 plate Cup up tomorrow, got it for £10899 from http://www.showroom4cars.comwww.showroom4cars.com only took 2 weeks from date of ordering to me actually getting it too!
Yeah, best i got offered by Renault was £4500 for my V Reg 21000 miles Vts and then 11995 for the car. I ended up selling it to a lad from the saxosportsclub.com website for £4500 and then ordered the Cup from showroom4cars.com for 10899, so a total of £6400 + my car for the Cup.
From what i...
Ahhh, knew it was a peugeot that won it, kind of rings a bell now.
What did you think of the Cup then? i just sold my VTS for 4.5k and ordered a Cup, feels kind of the same in 1st/2nd, then seems to pull better in 3rd/4th & 5th.
Ive still got the magazine with this article in it (i had just bought my VTS and a mate had a Clio 172), the VTS was quicker around the track than all the cars as stated, but they were all driven by the same bloke i believe (ill have to check the article when i get home) who was a track day guy...
Mmm, nice exhaust.....
