If any one is looking for a clio cup, i can recommend http://www.new-car-discount.comwww.new-car-discount.com, i just bought a new (pre-registrered) 03 plate for 10,995 and i got an excellent trade in price on my williams.
Well worth a look
Yeah, there is a big margin to play with as my mate is sales manager of our local Renault dealer (& his Dad owns it), so I asked him how much discount I could have...Quote: Originally posted by m@thew on 08 June 2003
I was talking to the manager at the Leeds renault garage and he was telling me that staff can have a clio cup for £9200 so I can only say go for as much discount as possible as theres obviously a big margin there for them to play with
I bought my clio on the 21.10.02, the day the 03 range was launched, took delivery on the 30.11, then found out that dealers had pre-registered it, so my docs say registered 28.11 and transferred to me on the 30.11, chinned them as to why they had pre-registered it and was told it was due to the price i got it for....i was concerned that if i totalled mine i wouldnt get a new car replacement through the insurance but i called them and asked what would happen and they advised that if i could show i had bought the car before it was pre-registered and could show it had only been in their name for 48 hours then my insurance would be fineQuote: Originally posted by jonm on 08 June 2003
Why would a CUP be pre-registered? I thought this only happened with cars that couldnt be shifted.
Still now sure...Quote: Originally posted by Alymac on 08 June 2003
