Hi guys and gals!
Right i'm new to clio ownership having just picked up my 182 FF.
This is by far and a way the best all round car ive owned, coming from owning a string of fords i can positivly say im enjoying the change.
Heres a few pics of my car (im not sure on how to resize the pictures, help with this would be appriciated!?);
Previous owner had fitted a miltek cat back system, sounds very nice but the mounts had completely perished. So ive put the money out and ordered a set of the prima competition mounts. I did see there was a guide on here of making your own uprated mounts using powerflex bushes but decided id rather not have the hastle as I can be lazy sometimes!
So far planned for the future is;
- The competition exhaust mounts already mensioned, so that will hopefully tidy up the look of the rear end.
- Will be ordering the engine and gearbox mounts shortly as the is an occational knock when changing from 1st to second so would be nice to eradicate that issue. Have heard that after changing/uprating the dogbone to a powerfkew item it can start to wear the other mounts untill they all need changing. Some info on this would be appreciated? But im thinking of changing them all out of course.
- Fabia splitter will be added later this week
- Will be uprating the pads at some point, thinking of ferodo DS2500's and not sure if its worth changing the disks or not but will look in to it
- Eventualy would like a set of speedline 2118's
After one day of ownership due to my mates car breaking i had to drive to the WRC in wales and what a trip!! Totalled 1100 miles 600 of which were motorway miles and really pleased i went with the FF rather than the cup. It was very comfortable and cruise helped alot. Once in wales the mountain and moorland roads were a dream!! loved every second.
My mate had his go-pro with him so will upload some videos once i get them from him.
So far very pleased and will update when I get some stuff done to it.
Would be good to get to know some people on here and get some oppinions on that car/plans.
Cheers Dan
