Its a simple replacement to fit a DAB aerial. Is it easy to do? too much hassle? whats needed to be done? Suppose re-wiring too needs doing! does it?? Stuart

i bought a new kenwood headunit last week too. I order had to also order 2 parts for the radio to connect to the stalk. One is a renault clio adapter, and the other is the kenwood adapter. Makes sense really tho i doubt i will change either for a while. Not fitted it yet tho, car due today...

tomtom is supurb! There is a update to tomtom 3 at the moment that updates the software to take into account traffic situations. Its currently trialing for free for 6 months i think. Stuart

i got the 4155 and the tomtom3 package too. Got them off ebay months ago. Bought them sperately, worked out cheaper. Great, the PDA is great, the software tomtom3 and gps unit is fantastic. Well recommend it, and expect to pay about £350 for it, £300 was very good!

as you may have noticed, i have been debating on 2 headunits, Kenwood 9527 and JVC 701. The JVC looks good, but as it is, kenwood has the better insides! Within the week, most likely tomorrow, i will order my Kenwood headunit! I would say Kenwood.

if anyone is selling a cable to connect the kenwood 9527 to the clios stalk and display, PM me! i will buy off you. I just had an email back from car audio direct saying that there is no cable that connects the headunit to the clio display! Stuart

also, the 8027 has fine pitch display.

One difference is SRS WOW. Turns radio/cds and mp3s into surround sound in your car! Thats one difference i can see.

Does the ariel look different to the standard clio ariel? Debating whether i should get a dual external ariel put on or to see if i can buy a internal windscreen one, as the car is brand new, sort of not want to mess anything up in if, if you know what i mean! Stuart

it is yeah, digital surround sound or something on it. the 9027 is analogue, doubt it would make much difference. Does your mate find it ok with the face being lower than the headunit itself, as i thought where it is lower, it would be in my way for the climate control to be honest. So...
