yeah same here with money! haha, i notice you have a 1.4 Dynamique, supurb! i have one on order for 20th september!
Anything i should know, never owned a renault before! It got the Digi and control packs!
Stuart
why wait 600 miles.
Hasnt it been said on this forum that "pushing" the engine hard is a good thing to do while is it so new, getting it loosened up???
Obviously, as i keep saying, getting my car in 3 weeks or so. Clio, dynamquie 1.4 with a digi pack.
so that means 4x40w radio in it.
Will this is the "tuner list " model? if that means anything to you.
I am trying to find a MP3 changers i can put in to the clio to replace the standard CD...
i ahve tomtom 3 too, with a IPAQ 4155, does the job nicely.
Updates within the same version are free, for instance, 3.0 to 3.1 is free, but 3.0 to 4.0 would be a small upgrade fee.
I have added traffic information too, that connects to the internet via my bluetooth mobile phone and it gets...
I have that, (3 disks worth??)
I dont know what the codes for my car are, so many to choose from.
Are we talking about the same disks?"Renault Dialogys"
I am looking for a haynes manual for my HW54 clio when i get it.
Would buying the earlier haynes manual (reg R-Y) cover what i need to know, about where things are located on the car etc... or would that book be very much out of date?
Petrol i am getting BTW, 1.4...
" "think" police have to wear seatbelts only ppl who dont are myself a bus driver and taxi drivers"
Delivery guys dont have to either, for instance, i work in B&Q and i am often needed to go out a deliver, and as delivery guys, you DONT have to wear your seat belt! Though i always do out...
i take it that the esp on/off switch covers traction control as well.
How well does it stop wheelspin coming out of slipperly junctions? This is the reason why i purchased the control pack, to get out of a junction quickly with minimum of wheelspin.
i agree!
Most people i race against in my rover 416 (pretty nippy car) take it so seriously, you can see it in their driving (and faces), but i have had a few i play with that when we seperate our ways, flash lights or wave to say nice one, thank you. I know i do! its all in good fun.
Hoping...
how long would you say i would have to wait for the oil to be at the best temperature?
From a cold standing?

i think i will go up to renault tomorrow and see what i can do then.
Winter is coming and i want to protect the car for as long as possible.
I will try and get the style pack too. I get my car in just over a month, so hopefully they can just add it to the order without delaying the build.
sounds good. you get discount on renaults themselves? ;)
Though i wont be able to go to meets often, (£40 return on the Isle of Wight ferrys) i would like discount on stuff.
I will look into it! thanks!
if i go up there and talk to the sales guy, you reckon i can still get these things?
One more thing! I have heard somewhere that if you wanted to add a pack later on, you can. I want the style pack addes if possible. Any chances of that?
I get my car next month, (1.4 Dynamique) with digi and control packs.
Do mudflaps and headlight protectors come with the car as standard or are will i have to buy these elsewhere.
I ask as my local roads are sh*t.
Also, car mats? Do you get these free with the car, surely we do?!?!
Stuart
thats cool! will make sure i do that then!
The clio i am getting is a standard 1.4 dynamquie, so not lowered or anything, how deep you reckon it could go in a puddle / stream, best to know a rough estimate as i see some interesting forecasts for this winter!
Anyone have experience of how deep you can drive a clio through a puddle.
Where i live (isle of wight) there tends to be floods around 2 feet deep and jsut wondering how much the clios can handle.
My rover 416 handled the floods ok, as long as rpms were kept up.
classic fm sounds great, but the majority of the stations sounds just as good as fm.
Its the variety in stations that i use DAB for. FM has a limited amount of stations on, all of which sound the same, but DAB brings more stations to me.
What system have you got to pick up DAB?
I will have the standard clio "digi pack" setup when i get my clio mid september, but i currently have the Blaupunkt DAB52 in my current rover.
I want a solution to put DAB and MP3 in my new clio when i get it.
I have myself a Blaupunkt DAB52, with MP3 and DAB on it.
I will get my clio mid september when renault have made the thing.
I have got the Digi pack on the clio.
Can i put my Blaupunkt in the car easily, making use of the remote and CD changer provided by renault?
Thanks... stuart
Hello everyone.
I am soon to get my Clio Dynamque 1.4 16v, with digi pack and control pack.
I was wondering if the stereo system that comes with the car (in september, roughly 20th) is any good, or will it be easy to put my Blaupunkt cd radio in (as i has cdrw, DAB and MP3). If i were to do...
