I don't think i'll get those exact ones!
Just liked the multi-spoke look!
I'll keep my eyes peeled for other multi-spoke wheels when out and about round car shops!
I don't know where you stand on terms of refund/replacement!
But road salt is a killer for wheels!
Over winter on my fiesta I have a 2nd set of wheels which I put on, they're powder coated black alloys, they can withstand the punishment!
Other than that......
That is a complete t**t though! :(
This isn't directly clio related but....
In the cases where I have done this before,
one end of the bar is fixed down by a bolt/other!
You undo this end and then the other is just a case of fiddling with the bar until it comes through the hole,
the bar normally has an 'S' shaped kink in it...
I have the mk.2 phase.1 1400 RT
Do any of the larger engined versions have bigger calipers and discs
that will be a direct replacement onto my hubs?
Thanks, Kolin!
Never done a clio before!
I've only done fiestas!
This is my first renault
How-ever I do know of some springs which have shot off and caused a lot of damage!
all depends how fast you let it down doesnt it!
if you drop the thing by accident or loosen it and it drops....
Fair play if you want to do it that way!
Not trying to get at you!
Just stationg for the benfit or Cyberblob!
Don't want him going into it without realising there is a safety...
Looks cool!
front looks lower!
Plenty ride height there!
Higher off the ground than my fiesta! :p
Only dropping the clio 35mm, probs over 15's or v. low prof. 16's!
need to keep it sensible! lol
http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/
Ordered them from there!
Some-one on here showed me to the site!
Not sure if that will be the cheapest place for them if that's all you buy!
But I was buying some parts for my fiesta aswell and buying them all together came cheapest from them!
Hope this...
Mine doesn't have them! :(
Just got the RT version
But I've seen them on clio's passing me and gathered they were a Renault factory piece!
So if I was to look for some second hand they'd be listed as Renault clio sport headlights?
Cheers!
Exactly!
It's the preperation that determines the outcome!
Prices will vary,
as will the quality!!
You would get a decent job from a smaller bodyshop, coachworks.
But places that specialise in paint work will 'generally' give you the best outcome,
but you pay for it!!!
I do all my...
Thanks!
If I can find some 16's I like that aren't too expensive then I'll opt for them!
Otherwise I'll go for the 15's!
EvilJohn's look about the height I'm after!
So might use 15's with 45/40 prof.
Vinny> Those headlights!
what are they and where can I get some? :)
I've placed my order for AVO springs this morning!
I opted for those as 40mm is the recommended max drop before changing the dampers also!
and 35mm drop should last a bit onger on standard dampers than 40mm
OK, ordered AVO springs - 35mm
Didn't want to drop any-more on springs
and I can't afford to change the dampers as of yet!
What wheels {size and tyre prof.} would look best under this suspension!
opinions please!
Thanks, Kolin!
I've painted the interior in my mk3 fiesta!
Does look good!
you need to use plastic primer and plastic paint so the thinners doesnt damage the plastics!
Also... some glossy colours will reflect onto your windscreen,
which obviously you want to avoid as much as possible!
I don't fully know the phases here, so please bear with me!...
I have a mk2 clio S reg, 1.4 RT!
my rear lights are completely red!
I have gathered mine is a phase 1? yeah?
Is a phase 2 the one with the different front grill and headlight shape?
and the rear lights have a white circle in the...
