Has any body fitted a ph1 throttle body & inlet to a ph2 (172 cup)? How did you wire the iscv & the tps? I have a me221ecu (which does not like idling with the drive by wire)

I have a throttle pedal track 1 fault which it putting the centre orange coil light on on the dash, is the white multi plug at the base of the engine fuse box wher the car loom joins the ecu loom for the drive by wire. I changed my engine loom at the weekend & this fault has came up since

Was the blue plug that you are speaking about part of the lafge white plug clipped into the base of the fusebox?

I had a race prepped 550bhp impreza wagon, I broke it for parts & bought a 172 cup. Best thing I did, more fun, handles better cheaper to run & cheaper for parts. Never had half as much fun on the track with the scooby.

I have bothered due to my standard one failing, so I just bought an uprated one instead of standard!!! Not that this info is important to the question.

Has anyone fitted a walbro fuel pump kit to their ph2 172? mine did not come with instructions, is it easy enough?

When fitting an omex ecu do both your standard & omex ecu need a water temp sensor? If the do do you just drill & tap the m12x1.5 hole into the housing or do I need to weld a boss on first?

has any one bought the clip diagnostics units from ebay & were they any use? I i want to switch my air bag light off.

The safety devices cage is brilliant & comes with full fitting instructions. It comes with all the mounting plates, bases & bolts. Mark Fish is a very nice guy & very helpful.

My original oil pressure switch has been removed & a dual temp & pressure block has been fitted in its place. Now I think the cable has just been left disconnected, if so does that mean my oil light would not come on? Everything seems to work fine no lights on on the dash!!

If the cable for the oil pressure switch is disconnected would the light just stay off?

I have heard it is not a good idea to skim them, where is cheapest to get a new one if I need it? Its s mk2 172 cup.

Well to be honest thats a fair saving of 13%, even without the discount code they are cheaper than the forum trader, who you would of hoped to be unbeatable. Ok its only £13 but in this current climate & time of year it all helps.
