ok, just about to go for my MOT so the cat and std zorst is on my RSi at the mo... but once its past I can either put just the de-cat pipe back on or i got a SS straight through 4" big one....
should I go for the noise? or the de cat which would give me a little back pressure from the mid...
iirc the DTM mirrors are really hard to see anything out of. my mate had them and was soo annoyed at how little he could se in tehm and had to keep looking over his shoulder....

i had two on mine when i bought it, lasted almsot 2 years... then woosh, big crack, new windscreen £170 when u could have go auto glass to fix the chip or even go halfrauds and get a lil kit to do it yourself.

nope, u need to show them the cover note...
a way round it might be to take out a policy, get them to fax u a temp cover note, get teh tax then cancel the insurance using the 14 day cooling off period, then u'd get a full refund on any money spent on the insurance.

me and my bro are both with adrien flux, seem quite reasonable. My bro's car is heavely styled and mine modded also, both are about 500 full comp (ages 23 & 27).

I see there's a screw holding it in just inside the wheel arches, so the skirts are stuck on to the the car (below the doors) but just sits there at the bottom of the wings?

I keep changing my zorst ever few months at the mo, keep using the same gaskets :oops: just clean them up with a wire brush and re gunk them with gun gum zorst paste... works a treat. as for the back part, again just coat it with gun gum and leave to dry. sorted :D

I got some 16v wings and bonnet to go on my RSi, but looking at the side skirts looks like they need to come off also to fit the wings.

wheel bearing is more a whurring while driving and getting higher in pitch as u get faster... the squiking might be some where in ur stearing rack... iirc

i got a set off ebay with my seats... its very much worth paying the extra for a drivers one with the inertia system.... that means it works like a normal seatbelt which is handy for looking at junctions and stuff...
them ones on ebay didnt even sell for £40! does this mean the price will be comming down?
as for making them for the MK2, unless u really want CarFib ones why not just get a sheet of plastic cut to size?
