pmsl at this thread. Those that are knocking it, clearly havent had real experience of it.
I agree that you should shop around to get the best price, but as has been said - whats £300 odd quid in the grand scheme of things? If your insurance shortfall is anything more than that, then surely...
Didnt come with the turinis when it was bought. These were the replacements to the really poor choice of the previous owner.
Fad, new car is for the lady. I dont have a need for a weekend play thing, so will steal the 197 when I wish.
The new owner picked it up this morning after nearly 4 years of ownership...effortless sale, which makes a change.
Roll on March 21st for delivery of the 197 CUP in racing blue.
Ok.
Car interminttantly refuses to start. Sometimes fires then dies, other times wont even turn. Not even giving it gas maintains an idle.
Fitting a new battery tonight as the current one is OE from new - good charge but the AA think the battery maybe half the problem.
Sounds like an...
Would disconnecting the battery for a period of time clear any previous faults logged within the ecu memory?
Car is a 52 reg Clio 172 Cup.

Hi all.
Been registered for a while now, but now the girlfriend has a 197 Cup on order, I will be about alot more.
I live in Hampshire and noticed the Krispy Kreme meet the other week. I will try to get to a few of those.
Gone for a standard car finished in racing blue.
Already bought...
I have had similar issues looking for the 197 CUP. On money supermarket you can select this exact car, but on the matrix behind, it infact quotes on a 1.2 Freeway which obviously gives a ver very low premium. Not happy
To quote the EVO article:
' The rear brakes do little work and its worth noting that the cup does not have a bias adjuster because of the omission (lack of) of the ABS system. Some owners have seen their Cups fail MOT's because the test centre has diagnosed rear brake failure'.
In the bag...
seward renault in portsmouth failed the cars MOT. I have now bought the copy of EVO with the article and note about the rear brakes. I have to be onto a winner here?
Hi,
The 172 cup I have doesnt have these wheels, as the previous owner replaced them with some cheap offensive alloy wheels.
Are the Turinis available in the 17" variant or is it just 16"?
Does anyone know how much a wheel and tyre package is, direct from Renault?
TIA;)
