I stuck with an OE unit from Renault. My 2002/52 Cup battery died in March.
Halfrauds do an replacement @ £100, although the main dealer prices were alot cheaper than that iirc.
My brother had HD installed last year @ £350 iirc. Twinned up with a Bravia, the quality is fantastic. I too found myself flicking between HD and non HD just to see the massive difference. Clairty is fantastic.
Not liking the pipes on that at all. Slightly off colour for janspeed too, as they dont tend to stray away from the classic tailpipe design.
I dont think I will be ordering one for the 197 anytime soon.
My 197 slipped by a month which was unexplained, although it did actually arrive into dealer stock 2 weeks early in the end. I kept on that them to turn it around quickly once they got it in.
I have company cars to drive about in. This is her everyday car that replaced her previous one.
I work in the motor industry and have a relationship with the dealership that supplied it, hence why I collected it. I am insured to drive it, so occasionally I will head out in it. I hope that...
After waiting a whole 10 weeks, I finally took delivery of my girlfriends new car this lunchtime.
Completely standard, out of the box 197 Cup in Racing Blue.:)
14 Miles on the clock, and will tell her to take it easy for a bit before giving it some death.
Surprisingly better in the flesh...
Hi,
Just picked up the new car for the missus and have this new Alpine to fit.
Not fussed on retaining the steering wheel controls - am i right to presume it will be a plug and play affair? Loom to loom and straight forward?
Anyone got experience of fitting this into a new generation...
going to collect the girlfriends new 197 Cup at lunchtime. Ultimately, she will have the final say so to if she wants its lowered on H&R/Eibach springs as it is her daily driver. K-tec is only down the road, so may swing by depending on what she wants.
Bearing in mind the CUP already has a firmer ride, whats peoples opinion/expereinces of lowering the car further. How hard and uncomfortable does it become?
The clio will be the girlfriends car. I may get to drive it once in a while.
I work in the car leasing industry and drive anything and everything, depends what we have on demo at any one time.
Straight out the box standard car in racing blue.
Organised it on a PCP arrangement, and have no intention of buying it at contract end, so went for a bog standard car.
...well the girlfriends
Order has taken somewhat longer than expected for unknown reasons, and I got the call yesterday to tell me it had arrived at the import centre.
Providing the dealer can arrange delivery to them and turn the PDi and registration around mega quick, then all being well...
