Well, im not an apprentice but im study motorvehicle and im in my 3rd year too. from what i have learnt i would be able to do it with some assistance of a haynes manual. He is an apprentice so he should know more than me so i would let him go 4 it!

well my car runs fine with it on, why would he say it damages engines? oh n also he said it was a stupid boy racer thing butr they dont relise what its doing to thier engines.

My local garage advised me to remove my air filter as it damages the engine, is this true? cuz i really cant see how?

Are ecu faults common on clio's?

well either my ecu is broke or iv got an ecu earth problem, basicly my car doesnt start everthing else is fine n me and my mates have eliminated it down to this. it starts when the ecu is earthed but it cuts out after a few seconds. how much would renault charge to fit this?

i think my car needs a new ecu, any one have an idea how much they cost? iv got a 1.2 16v clio on a 02 plate. cheers

ok. its a new engine that iv put in n its gave me so many problems. f**king french!

well iv sorted the fuel getting to the engine, me and my mates got the engine running but we have now come across a new problem, it will only start when we earth out the ecu, so does this mean theres a bad earth or is there a fault with the ecu?

or anywhere else i can get this wiring from?

Does anyone know if renault would sell the wiring, or would i need to buy a new motor to get the wiring? cheers
