Yes a 1.2 enigne, its costing me £275 including delivery. The head gasket went and i decided it was a waste of time replacing it because of the amount of miles it had done.

After a week without driving im finaly getting a new engine! The new engine has only done 10k (alot less than my original engine) and its cheap as chips. Only downside, i gotta wait another week till i can fit it! cant f**king wait!:)

im in my last year at college studying motorvehicle so fingers crossed i should be ok. is there anything else i would have to do once changed the engine. e.g. the clock, tell insurance. Do you need to register the engine to the car? Oh yh i live in coalville mate

ok suppose i have all the right equipment, and the engine is going to be the same size. How long will it take to do? I need it done soon because i cant really drive my car until its got a new engine.

all french cars seem to do this, nearly every clio iv been in has done it and also both my mates 306's do it. so im guessin its pretty normal m8.

well im after a 1.4 but i will be putting the engine in my self. i currently have a 1.2 16v, how easy would puttin a 1.4 16v engine in instead of a new 1.2 16v? ill have to try autotrader then.

i have got the same problem, only now my car is popping, think it could be a missfire or a hole in the exhaust. what do you people think? oh btw is it the coilpack light that comes on? because when mine does that i belive that light comes on. Also i cant pull off when this happens, it revs to 2k...

well its not smeeling anymore, just using alot of fuel lol! iv had a thought. Im not going to get a remap, i might get a new engine put in, say 2.0 16v? wot do you guys reckon?

when the engine is cold iv got to keep the revs on so it doesnt stall. Also the coil pack light comes on every now n then

Im thinking of spraying my alloys black. These alloys are the standard ones that come with a dynamic (or how ever u spell it). Basicly i want your opinions on this and has anyone ever done this cuz some pics could help me decide. Btw my car is light blue and i have yellow front callipers...
