How do the Zymol and Swissvax compare to the Duragloss Rich?? I went with the Duragloss based on your recommendations and so I'm keen to hear if these 2 are even better?
Another vote for the Duragloss shampoo here, I've been using it for the past few months and it is superb. Used the AG shampoo before this and whilst being a good shampoo, the duragloss is far superior. Leaves a lovely gloss finish.
Nearing the end of the bottle now, wondering if I should try...
I was looking to add it to my collection along with P21s but I certainly won't be bothering now. Looks like I'll carry on with the P21s for my RB or maybe give the onyx a try.
Dave off topic mate but I'm after 1 anthracite 182 wheel as mine has unfortunately suffered some kerb damage at the weekend :( . I've got 3 mint ones so i'm really only after just one. Any chance you could sell the anthracites seperately if your happy with the new wheels??
Cheers
Alan
Anyone tried the Victoria concours wax? I've been reading the posts over on detailingworld and it seems to be highly recommended for a nice wet look.
Can anyone back this up??
i'm sure i've read somewhere that MF's should be washed on a cold wash not 30 or 40 degrees. Its what i've always done.
Foam pads I hand wash with soap powder in warm water, any product lifts out of the foam pads very easily. Leave them to soak too for 15 mins to make sure everything is out.
I'm also interested after hearing of Chris's positive comments. Really need a price though mate.
Chris I've heard that some exhausts don't join brilliantly to the CAT and it can blow from this join, how does the Milltek fair??? I'm after a system that fits as close to perfectly as possible...
Ok to send you a PM to book it in Fred, or shall I call you tomorrow? Might have a chat about one of you exhaust systems too, feeling tempted my standard doesn't sound brilliant at the mo.
Yeah mate I understand what your saying. I would think that peak power and torque would be the areas you see biggest gains and I can now understand why after reading about AFR's. High up the rev range (i.e peak) is going to look to the new maps that will have been programmed in. This is fine...
Is it torque that seems to see the best improvements with a remap rather than bhp??
Fred, i'm also looking to get my 182 checked over by a specialist and I think your the man (also the closest :) ). Couple of problems/changes :
Got a clicking/creaking clutch pedal.
Starting issues first...
From some posts I've been reading, am I correct in saying that a re-map improves torque in the lower rev range?
Please correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the car in closed loop mode at lower RPM? If so this would mean that the adjusted maps aren't being used as the O2 sensor will be in...
Leon I think I have the exact same problem. This is the first time I have heard from someone who has an identical problem.
I've just been doing some reading on AFR and whether a faulty sensor could be causing the car to run poorly. I recently had the O2 sensor changed at Renault and I wonder...
I didn't realise 3 of the 4 points where common, i'm quite shocked. Anyone else suffer with the clutch pedal clicking?? Could the starting problems be linked with the sluggish behaviour? Are any ignition components that start the car involved with poor performance??
It seems we are indeed not alone. I find it so weird I was hoping for a reason to explain why but there doesn't seem to be one. If your Audi has it Jesske then the very best of cars must be plagued by this problem!!
Could a faulty clutch cable cause this problem?? I have a creaking and clicking coming from the clutch pedal, i never looked at the possibility of the clutch causing this type of problem.
Running on V-Power mate, always do. I'm really not sure that its simply down to a bad day or warm air. Is it normal for car to feel more sluggish one day than another?? If so why is this. Any experts out there willing to shed some light on the problems??
Thanks for the replies guys
I'm convinced its more than the weather, it varies in response a lot even within one journey like Lasbazzre. Feels to me like its holding back. 1st gear and second to some extent seem the worst though not sure why that is.
Is first a poor gear for pull anyway in the RS's??
