I was thinkin of that option to be honest! Get someone out to sort it out and then tell them they are payin!!
I'm pissed off to be honest they are a bunch of w*****s the lot of them!!
Any good contacts to do the repair in the north west anyone?
To be honest I don't think the ba***ards would pay up!! Can it be done to a professional standard by touch up?
Avoid Renault Liverpool at all costs is my advice to anyone!! Sorry I never listened to you Edde!
Hi guys,
Just got my car back from Renault Liverpool after having the oxy sensor replaced and all is fine now, no stupid light on the dash. However, they've decided to leave me with a lovely scuff on the left side of the rear bumper!! I'm absolutely furious as I have spent a lot of time...
Had a wonderful bit of news this morning, apparently Renault are not able to get hold of a Lamda sensor for me until sometime this week, not telling me when exactly just sometime in the week. Means my car has been there since Wed and still not had the stupid sensor fitted!! How long can it...
Yeah I am worried about having it in there I must admit but as its under warranty and it is the closest to me I thought I'll take a chance. We'll see what happens on Monday.
Thanks for the help
Thanks for the quick reply. So the second sensor is like a backup sensor is that right?
Also did you mean the idle will be helped by the new sensor or just that the 172/182 suffer from uneven idle?
Hi guys,
Just back from a few days away where unfortunately I wasn't able to take my car. Just as I was about to leave for a long journey to Wales, the stupid exhaust pollution light came on, on the dash, didn't it. I really wasn't sure what this meant at the time so I went down to Renault in...
Cheers guys for all the tips. What is the recommended quick detailing spray for adding some glossy shine in between polishing etc? I know AG have one but is it any good?
Thanks again for your help mate, won't need to do my car again with the full routine for a few months then as its just been done. I'll make sure I top up the P21s every month and see how it goes from there.
Is there any guides or tips on claying?
Cheers Rich, I had a strong feeling the best reply would be coming from you!!
Just a quick question, little confused with some of the details in the post. Should I go for the SRP, EGP, P21s every 4 months, applying P21s wax monthly in between?
Also I've never used clay before, is it safe...
Does anyone know how long there should be in between polishing using SRP? I was thinking of doing this monthly followed by the EGP and P21s would this be ok? Does polishing it this often make the top layer of the paint a lot thinner over time?
Thanks
Any ideas on a rough price Neil for 24 year old, 2 years no claims, driving for 3 years? I'm looking to renew in May so would be nice to get an idea of what greenlight can offer?
Cheers
Thanks. I've also found the steering to be quite sensitive to uneven road surfaces too. Wheel tends to move slightly from side to side on roads, 'feels a little wobbly' would probably be the best description I can give. This is not the case on good road surfaces though.
Could this also be...
Hi,
When I'm at parking speed in my 182 cup the steering becomes very heavy, but seems lighter when moving at speed. Is this a normal thing with the 182?
Coming from a c2 VTS the steering seems very heavy as the VTS had electric power steering and was extremely light! I've checked my PAS...
Cheers guys, didn't think it was a problem just wanted to make sure. Gearstick also vibrates when driving, so am I right in thinking this is the same thing?
Alan
Hi guys, I'm new to the forums so thought I'd get straight underway with my first post!! Just got my clio 182 cup and I've been looking around for a little while now at some of the problems that you have. My car seems to idle a little rough, nothing major to be fair, but at lights etc you can...
