Lmao. How am I getting the blame for this here?
😂
Looking good dude. Nice to have a play with parts till you get it just how you want it. I’m loving my PMS on mine now. It’s perfect for me.
It’s no issue. You can only speak as you find. I’ll just not be rushing back. It’s only a pub at the end of the day and as said, I’ve far far better on my doorstep with no lack of proper metal in attendance.
Turnout was poor. (not the venues fault!)
Food took longer to arrive than the drive there, and was basic and tepid when it did. Hardly like they were busy either as it was a ticketed event.
So as said, the turnout is nothing to do with them, but the food & drink certainly is.
Just see all the...
Not much to update on the little 182.
Popped to Caffeine & Machine the other week with friends inc @Dr Jekyll, @MrBlonde & @Ash J.
Great day with the company in tow but less said about the actual place the better. Hugely overrated imo and as expected typical Instagram style over substance...
Yup, 11mm drill and big b*****d RivNut installer. I used a Cobalt bit but i could have used an 11mm sausage thus is the thickness and integrity of the stock subframe.
Nope thats pretty much it. But the subframe isnt that massive and the sump guard is incredibly rigid as it is. I dont think it needs any swaging personally as its hard alloy and not the usual soft sheet stuff.
Tough one really mate, as new they're quite spendy and i didnt buy it new.
If you can pick up a used one and make sure you get it fitting with no fouling then absolutely. Significantly improved front end feel and the obvious protection under the car when pressing on. I haven't caught it yet...
I found that the transmission was kissing some of the bolt heads that holds the gear selector rod protection piece. I removed one or 2 pieces of hardware in those locations. It has massively reduced the NVH but its still kissing somewhere at full load WOT that i need to investigate. Even with VT...
Most Taxi laps with multiple people in are around the low 8 min mark. That’s quick to those not familiar with the track or the speed available there. However seasoned drivers there with reasonable but not outrageous equipment are around 7:30 pretty regularly.
I don’t care who you are, if...
Selling for big money now too. I sold all of mine for around £250 a piece inc covers Now the fog covers alone fetch around £300.
I still have a full prodrive grille in the garage lol.
Watched this the other night too. I rreally like the Apex guys and watching Robert around there was superb.
Im a Porsche fanboy and we can all bang on about GT3s and the like, but the way the BMW M cars cope with the useage there is really impressive.
Apart from being on a board in the...
This.
Unfortunately you've next to no hope of proving whos at fault. I hate diamond cut wheels for this exact reason. Had my Mini GP wheels done and then put them in the garage till i sold it.
Those wheels are finished with whats known as a "diamond cut face, where the finish is cut back on a lathe to bare aluminium that is then lacquered. Thus giving you the high lustre finish on the face.
The clear coat has been punctured and moisture has gotten in to the bare alloy causing it to go...
The PW TMIC seems to run out of efficiancy around the 430bhp area from what ive seen. As long as the skirt is fitting well from the bonnet scoop it will be fine.
You can go FMIC but for that power i probably wouldnt bother unless you have a custom RS500 style one made up. So many of them are...
Had it off again tonight as I had a pair of Ktec/Vibratechnics mounts to fit anyway.
Found no witness marks at all on the underside of the sump guard but I did find of the bolts that hold the linkage protection plate was polished on the top. It was just touching the large M12 bolt head that...

Most severe on idle, pulling away at low rpm and oddly increases with low speed steering lock, but i think thats the PAS putting load on the motor to be honest.
It feels like ive just put a very very stiff set of engine mounts on. Im gonna have it off again tonight and tripple check for fouling...
