How's the PMS shifter over the BMS?
My BMS shifter is absolutely brilliant, not sure the PMS could be that much better that it warrants the £200/300 cost and putting up with the constant rattling?
Been a while since i last updated this one.
Still have the 182 and still love it!
Not much has changed apart from having the all-important belts done at Diamond Motors last month along with an engine & gearbox oil change with Millers CFS & XF.
Purchased a pair of Yellow Dot Recaro CS's...
They sounds like fakes unfortunately, very good ones albeit. Classic case of buy cheap buy twice!
I bought mine direct from Apple, didn't want any risk of replicas. They've worked perfectly since day 1, even despite one being dropped and left on the train tracks overnight at Derby Station in...
how often do people need to restore their headlights? Did mine this morning for the first time and wondering if it'll need to be a regular thing, every few months or so?
Fair point. Since they were discontinued finding them for a reasonable price is actually quite difficult, you wouldn't have trouble selling them for a lot more than they were new. Shame.
I think 172/182s prices will always only be going up won't they.
Granted mine is high mileage and the least desirable colour, so it'll never be worth a stupid amount.
March / April time? Think cars like this will always sell easier when the weather improves.
Might be selling my 182 next year sometime to fund a house purchase.

As a £1000 odd car I wouldn’t replace the roof, it’s fine as it is and we leave it undercover 99% of the time anyway.
The mot sheet states some on the underside as an advisory. It’s mostly surface rust as far as I can see but tbh I’ve not looked into it that much. The sills are in great condition.
silent so far in reality!
Granted it’s not the cleanest example and I have been honest about that on the advert. Would be nice to see it go to someone who’s going to give it some tlc.

Funny this thread popped up. Just found out yesterday that Halo 3's servers shut down just a couple of weeks ago?
Absolutely gutted, can't believe I didn't hear about it, would've 100000% booted up the old 360 and played a few rounds online. f**king loved that game.
Nice write up mate. 100% get that oem steering wheel off asap though. Completely kills the driving experience imo. I would’ve done that before any other modification!
That’s the worst thing about silver. I’ve never been fussed about having dirty cars, always used to challenge myself to see how long I could go without cleaning them throughout the winter. No point with silver as they still look clean after 3 months haha.
Took the Clio to Donnington last week for an evening session. Absolutely pissed it down pretty the much the second the track opened. Initially a little disheartening, being my first track day I wanted conditions to be perfect, however looking back it was definitely for the best. So much less...
Fitted a new PMS Stud & Nut conversion kit over the weekend, had to get the finest male model in to showcase my work. Photography skills on point 🤟Also been taking advantage of this spell of nice weather and actual reliability with the car to get some miles down and enjoy it. Drives so well...
