Don't scrimp and get a churbo, not worth f**king around and wasting money on them. Genuine new gt2560 for low boost.
Most boxes get killed due to ratios and the torque multiplying effect. That and most have had a hard life.
Low boost and a dci box will see you more than fast enough.
The dead one had the flywheel let go, luckily the box internals were ok, gripper diff and fd.
That's how it came in last Sunday and in the pic it's the middle engine, other internal bits are what's gone in it.
Al's should make decent power, think possibly the cams might hold it back though?
rustoleum hard hat for aerosols. plus just about anything eastwood and por do is good as well. only vht i ever use is the wrinkle finish. tried their calliper paint once and would of been better i i would of drank some paint and pissed it on!!!!!!!!
Looking into a couple of things at the mo. Not sure if anything will 100% stop it happening but just got a fresh build we are going to try a couple of things on and see if it improves pressure.
you don't need to open them up as match them. ideally you'd sort both faces out and run without a gasket.
crack the bolts off and see how much the upper inlet will twist on the dowel.
upper to lower inlet has one dowel so it will still turn around this by a couple of mm, drill it anf fit another one and will line up properly. you'd need to do the same on the lower to the head as well.
