bearing spins and overheats the rod, bottom of it will of been blue and it distorts it so when you stick new shells in and tighten the cap it locks the crank.

Engine up as high as possible on drivers side and you can get it off, bit of a fiddle but can be done.

Downside to crimping is you're stuffed if you need to change any of the fittings.

I use torques on eBay. Can get stuff a bit cheaper or if you want to wait a bit and get it from China you'll save a fair bit. Their stuff is good, delivery 90% of the time is next day and they keep a good range in stock.
