Thanks mate.
Yes they sent me that exact sticker as well, they sent me both. But I decided to fit my version since it stands out a bit more than the grey one, personal preference. Yours still looks very good though!
Just a general tidy up done under the bonnet today.
Here are a couple of pictures of all my old stickers on the top of the grille which weren't looking their best. Also you will notice I was missing one of the trim fastener clips at the far top right corner of the grille.
So I got to...
Not a great deal has happened since last update.
Car is now booked in for all the suspension to be fitted on 17th August, very excited. Have that week off work, so will be nice to go for a few drives that week with all the new suspension and not having to worry about work.
I ordered some new...
Marc,
If you are able to spare both some of that black tape and the clear film to protect the stickers, then I wouldn't mind some for my dampers please before I fit them to the car in a few weeks' time.
PM me if you can sort me out and let me know how much?
Ash
K-Tec appear to list the 172 and 172 Cup ones as being the same, and the 182 and 182 Cup ones as being the same (but different to 172 ones)...

So it looks like you just order shocks depending on whether you have a 172 or 182...

Haha, I know what you mean when someone else helps out and they drop the cloth. Just like me. Reminds me of this, me to a tee...
There is a video below here, just click on the empty white space!
Nice looking motor btw, love it!
They are actually very good tyres in the wet! Obviously not as good as a dedicated rain tyre, but I remember buying them partly because of the fact a lot of reviews said they were pretty good in the rain for a semi track day tyre. They replaced a set of Parada Spec 2s at the time, which in...
Hi guys
Jumped in the car today, and first thing I noticed was that the heater blower was on full which wasn't how I left it.
Anyway, tried to turn the speed down but it didn't do anything. Even if I press the 'off' button it just comes out at maximum speed! Tried pressing all different...
185/55/15 being the OEM size from memory? As you say not a large range in this size, but if it was me I would be going Yokohama AD08R as they make those in that size. Had a set of AD08s (before they brought out the uprated AD08R) on a 306 GTI, and they were incredible tyres. I'd say the best...
I can confirm that you can still get hold of GSD3s. I had a set of 4 fitted to my 182 a couple of months back in 205/45/16, which you can see in my project thread. Fantastic tyres, had them on many of my previous cars when they were more readily available and find them really good. Bonus for me...
Not sure Marc as can't tell too easily from the photo. Number 11? Just the originals.
One of my stickers is part number 8200244633.
The other has the corner missing so no part number. But on the far right of the sticker it has a warning about the correct air conditioning refrigerant.
Anybody know where I can get the black rectangular Renault stickers which go on either side of the top of the grille underneath the bonnet? Mine starting to not look the greatest and would like some new ones.
Ash
Cheers for the kind comments chaps.
Not much of an update, but I ordered a few decals from a guy on here @Ady182 (n2grafix) and they arrived Friday, so I got them fitted today.
Firstly, I ordered one of the new style 'Elf' decals to replace the original OEM one in the back window. It just ties...
Oh that was you then, just past Loomies? I remember flashing to a Blue Megane but wasn't sure if it was you or not, just being friendly to another Renault Sport owner! But I did think after it might have been you. So yes it was me, was heading to Aldershot to pick up those wishbones.
Not a great deal to update with in this last week.
The last parts I needed for my suspension refresh were a pair of wishbones. Cheapest I have seen a pair of genuine ones for is from a Renault Parts supplier on eBay at £100 posted for the pair which is a very reasonable price.
I was going to...
Pretty normal I would think? Probably just the idle dropping due to switching air con on. Bit like if you use both electric windows at idle, or a lot of electrical things at once, revs will dip slightly.
Yeah there is one that frequents around Hayling Island, see it at The Ship Inn quite often. Remember talking to the guy a few months back, and he took me for a quick spin in it. He also has (or did have unless he has sold it) a very, very nice Renault 5 GT Turbo in Grey which is absolutely mint!
So I had a delivery from Mark Fish today... can not bloody wait to get all this fitted along with the Trophy dampers and all the rest of my suspension parts!
Well there is a white 200 normally parked up on Beaufort Avenue, I left a ClioSport flyer on the window about a month ago. I live like two roads away, often go past it.
