To be honest mate, my original exhaust was in such a bad state i cut it in two at the rear beam. But yes you can drop the rear beam if you want to and disconnect at the cat.
The RS192 joint at the cat isn't great, plenty of paste and a good heavy duty clamp. Im on the verge of getting a v band...
Mapped with the RS Tuner 98ron map today and i'm fairly pleased with it! Smoothed out torque delivery massively, no kick at 5000rpm but pulls much harder from 3200/3500rpm. Also really impressed with the RS Tuner software. The car feels more responsive to drive. I'd say it's one of the cheapest...
Im being a cnut but I drive 120 miles per trip on a shocking A road a few times a week and it gets the weather really bad through the winter. Ive never been in a situation where I've thought "I need more grip in the snow/low temp conditions".
