Mine did the same, but unfortunatley they don't have lower arms.
these have an upper and lower ball joint which are actually a part of the hub assembly, you can't replace the ball joints with parts from your usual motor factors as these are a part of the hub itself, so the main route is to work...
If it's just an aux belt that needs to be changed, then that's by going to be expensive atall.
but I would assume the aux belt and cambelt had all been changed together.
have you fitted them yet to see what you think of them?
you may fit them and feel they suit the car as they are, if not you could atleast then see how much more you wish to push them out.
as you have the car and wheels in your ownership, you are the ideal person to answer your own question.
on a 1.4rt, leave it as it is and save your money, the money you waste for very little gain on a car like that, you could put towards buying a faster/more equipped model and covering the insurance aswell.
