Stripped the interior of everything, prepared it an primered it
Was getting fed up of it looking grubby an the patches where the sound deadening was removed being a different colour. Just need to pick up the paint from being mixed tomorrow an i shall get it sprayed up
I run almost the same as Mark above, other than i run 3.5 degrees negative camber on the front, rear i have 30mins total toe in and 2 degrees negative camber
@alistairolsen I am indeed doing the TS day in june, 29th i think it is. I may try an squeeze in a day before then if work allows
It takes a lot of adjusting to the reverse direction, i find at the chicane with the new kerbing its pretty much a straight shot. Clarks can be a challenge with it...
@alistairolsen as long as it keeps you happy an allows you to have fun is all that matters! I'm now needing new pads/discs aswell an the R888's are now shot aswel. luckily my next day isn't until the end of june!
At the chicane and duffus you were leaving loads of time out there by not using...
Hi @Shocker , i was in the little silver PH1. I spoke to you briefly in the pit lane just before i went out for the last 15minutes
@alistairolsen it was indeed me mate, the little ph1 goes well for what it is. Handling wise its spot on, just lacks the grunt up the straights really, you looked...
I'm sure the M factory diff is just the crown wheel that needs machined/fitted.
The RSXraxing solutions diff needs the bolts on the diff machined, I'm sure the M factory doesn't
I can testify that that shape of Ibiza with the 1.8T 20v engines are quick little cars. My mate has one as a track car an it's surprisingly quick in straight line for the power it's running
annoying issue to have but hopefully should be a quick and easy fix with some new O rings etc. Still have engine bay envy, intrigued to see how the PMS manifold helps aswel
looks superb, although is it just the light or are the doors a completely different colour of silver? If so i couldn't cope with that after the amount of work that has went in everywhere else
@Laine_16v surely if its thermostatically controlled the oil will bypass the cooler until the valve in the sandwhich plate opens? which i assume will be at 80 or 90 degrees which is the usual temps for sandwhich plates
I stopped in for a look when passing so watched for a little while. My pet hate is drivers like the evo who are quick on the straights an slow through the corners. Anytime this happens when i'm on track i just back off an give myself space, which is quite often tbh as through the twisties the...
Did you see the BMW pile up at scotsman or the scooby prang the evo at the chicane?
I have noticed a vast growth in the number of cars on track the past few trackdays and the days are being booked up ridiculously quick! At the detriment to driving standards from what i have seen aswel
certainly plenty clio's in SLS this year, across 3 different classes. should make for some interesting viewing for those like yourself and me who may do SLS in the future
i await word back from my local mapper on what he thinks of the inlet. If its positive i will be buying and doing a back to back test of my standard car, inlet fitted and finally inlet mapped
No they aren't, they are just a performance road based tyre. Stood up well to a dry trackday, used them in the wet on track once an they are ok but not overly confidence inspiring
I will be heading up to the MU night on wendesday. hopefully the weather holds out. Wouldn't mind jumping in the passenger seat if your out on track gav
My ph1 has the little tabs that locate into the wing as per a ph2.......I've cut mine off as I've a set of the pitking quick release fittings I'll be fitting this week
