    Battery powered tools

@DrAlex for chiselling you need a sds hammer drill with rotary stop function. I’m not sure why you need one if it’s just plaster board your dealing with? Or is it plastered walls you have? The Makita 18v DH202 LXT with a 5Ah battery will do most things..then DTD152Z impact driver body only (£65)...

182 4 point harness mount locations

This is my old shell with a harness bar welded in...only pic I could find after I wrote it off:cry:. When I got the seats and harness I thought using the existing seat belt points was a bad idea so I got a roll cage company local to me to do it....it served me well for a few...

    Hoses for Brembo Conversion

I take it yours is a mk2 Clio? If so you will need lines making up. Mk2 end to 197 the other end on one line. Goodridge made my conversion lines. Only for front... rears is mk2 lines as there’s no need to change the rear caliper. Unless you really want 197 rear calipers...not sure if anyone...

    172 cup mods for trackdays

Decent rear pads in the rear does help to scrub off speed on track. I know everyone says they don’t do anything but I’ve had standard pads and decent pads in the rear and they definitely slow the car better. As for what mod for track days..go straight for diff and don’t waste your money on...

I’ve just had the pipe changed as the fluid was leaking/weeping though it. The garage said it seems that the fluid has eaten away the pipe inside out.

My new racecar project (Icemans old shell)

Good to see she’s getting built back up(y) Do you run with the heat shield for the starter motor? And have you got much further with your bell and rotor setup?.. I can’t remember what size wheels you run. I’ve been running a bell and rotor setup near on two years now under a 15” wheel and...

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

So it took a garage 6 months to do my clio. They aren’t a Clio specialist..and all they did was strip a standard Clio to a shell and then stripped front and rear subframes and engine from my track car on to the new shell...paint a couple of panels..fit a cage..remove sound deadening and paint...
