Thanks Mark! Yeah it's crazy isn't it, I too put a decent amount of miles on my daily car but the Clio does live a bit of a sheltered life in the garage!
This made me look back at the MOT history and it's done 962 miles between this MOT and last year's! Also, it's only ever had 4 advisories...
Great stuff mate, that's a big job getting that done! Mick's a good old boy, that's a longggggg day for him there - just needs that new coolant bottle ;)
LOL! No, too much awesome can never be seen as a negative!
One comical note is that he DID try and fail me for my number plates - but was honest and talked to me about it! When I got them made up, I had them done as plain custom plates at Fancy Plates, therefore being legal with legal font etc...
I still can't believe all this has gone in the boot lol, but when you consider how cheap it all was compared to my front speakers alone, it's a lot of boom boom bass for your pound! If the sub goes in the well and the amp gets moved too, it'll be a lot more hidden and oem looking for sure IMO
MOT tested today at Renault and PASSED! Well chuffed, maintains it's 100% pass rate for another year!
One small advisory that is nothing I need to worry about now and that was it!
Large expense but worth every penny in my humble opinion, it's just not worth the risk is it
How are you finding the Parrot kit now it's been in a while? Easy to use?
Gutting to see this, I think i'd have sh*t myself if the bonnet went up like that!!
Fingers crossed the bonnet works out and imo definatly get the bonnet catches colour coded as well
It's funny sometimes how we are all different, i'd have f'ing loved to have had those original stickers in mine and you've ripped yours out!! I had to buy the Renault/Elf rear one but never got the sides lol!
Belts will be a big improvement, mine badly need doing! Literally the only thing that...
Looks so clean that, really does look a cracker this car - and yes it IS very satisfying getting the interior minty mint :D
The de-bobbler is such a nice little tool for pretty much pennies, made a decent job of mine - loads in the little bucket and didn't think mine were that bad!!
MOT is now booked for September 11th at our Renault main dealer so we shall see what that brings! Would have liked it a bit sooner but that is as early as they could manage.
I've also just sold the standard 182 wheels that came with the car, something I had no plans to do, but to be honest they...
This has the potential to be really good if the shell is as clean as that - totally understand the desire to throw it in the bin if it was that bad getting it home!! But good stuff so far. And yes, needs a certain well known 2.0 putting in :D
Oh 100%! The noise of the car was transformed - I was happy with the previous K&N panel in standard box set up but when I bought my new Milltek cat-back exhaust you just couldn't hear it and the car was soo quiet. So that was my que to go and get the K-Tec! As soon as that went on, NOISE! You'll...
Looks fantastic @Darren61 - proves yet again, no matter how clean you think the car is, there's always more muck haha I just KNOW mine will be minging behind the side strips as well. But great job!
It's of course each to their own with the induction kit, but for me and my car, I only wanted the...
