Very nice Ian. How are you finding the new LED headlights? have you got any shots of the car at night with the lights on. Are they are good as the older generation lights?
Rs tuner will be around a hundred.
Renault Clip copy is just under a hundred on eBay.
Hand held obd reader will be under £20.
If it's just for diagnostics then the reader will be great. Cheaper still if you have an android phone is a Bluetooth OBD2 for £5 off eBay and the download the torque app.
Thats definitely the way to go, quick spray now and again on the front mats. I do find the california scents come back to life when it gets hot and sunny.
I have been needing a car for doing my daily commute. Needed something very frugal, half decent stereo and fairly comfortable as I would probably be doing mega mileage. I started looking for MK3 DCi's - cheap , high milers and went to see quite a few but they were all scrappers.

That seems pretty much what you are after.
Id be going with a fine pad along with a fine refining polish to make it as shiny as is possible. A soft flat finishing pad is better than a hexlogic pad for refining, something like Menzerna 3800 is really good as a finishing polish.
I bought a spare wheel recently - a 17" 200 cup speedline wheel in satin black. The inside of the wheel is heavily caked in brake dust. Its the worst ive seen and im having massive issues in shifting it. Ive tried neat wonder wheels , iron off and its only improving it slightly. Is there any...
Some good pics there. Shame I didnt make it to combe today. Did you bump in to anyone from cliosport?
You must be loving the car at the moment after all the work you have had done.
Hope that track obsession flag didnt blow in to your car!
Euro car parts have the premium bonnet for under a £100 and even renault arent that expensive. Bonnet spray isnt that cheap though - £200 approx but will be cheaper than spraying a second hand bonnet as there will be minimal prep like sanding and filling.
small as possible. I used a network cable (ethernet cable) I just pulled 2 strands of the inner cable. Other cables that are good that you might have kicking around is an IDE hard drive cable, usb cable. Just needs to be a small wire as its only carrying a tiny voltage for an LED.

@donnylad - brilliant offer here - PM Ali a day or two before and go out on track with him in his car or yours. Honestly he is brilliant and helped loads of people last year.
There is a really easy solution to this which works as I tested it today.
You take the clocks off, remove the torx screws and needles, then take it apart to reveal the circuit board.
For the airbag for instance which will light up the SERV and Airbag LEDs. You use a soldering iron to desolder...
With a clay mitt you cant fold it over when it gets saturated in crap like you can with a clay bar. That probably means the mitts life is very limited and may have to ditch it after one use depending on condition. Its probably worth it though even if you only get a single use out of the mitt for...
Ive bought some of this to try on my vapour blasted stuff - http://www.raceglaze.co.uk/car-care-exterior/metal-chrome/race-glaze-jet-laq-non-paint-laquer/
