Problem solved - turns out it was out of date user credentials stored for the user. Rectified by using 'control userpasswords2' and deleting the stored data. Cheers

It's mapping to from an existing network share to a share on a new server. If another user logs onto the machine it redirects fine, it appears to be these user accounts rather than a machine issue...?

Just picked up the Epson R360 - £120 collect in store at PC world. LCD screen, high res prints, CD/DVD printing...photo quality on Epson paper is superb. Very pleased although it is the size of a large breadbin - although they all seem to be heading that way.

I had this problem when they released a firmware update a while ago; just seemed dead. Although the unit will seem like it isn't responding when connected by USB, still follow the procedures and it should come back to life. The update should be available from their site...nothing to lose :)
