You know my feelings really. I prefer the Cup setup (Not saying theres anything wrong with the PMS setup), when going EPAS.
My only slight consern is over the Alternator pulley, due to the lightweight pulley kit. I'm sure we could figure it out/speak to PMS.
Misses or Clio? Pfft.
TBF, I'd keep it on yours so you keep dash lights working correctly. With Martins it makes sense to remove it due to otherlights thanks to OMEX.
Just relocate it up behind dash.
I'll never die from lack of food. TBH it is forum reputation I have.
I plan to get back down to Martins in two weeks time, to at least get some more done, probably another couple of days after that too!
You'll have to pop down sometime Graham :)
Airbag ECU (And all its wiring) is being removed...
I did make a little more progress tonight, have another coolant leak from down the back somewhere, probably one of the heater pipes.
Need to look into lots of things, EML's on (TBF, theres lots of stuff that isn't plugged in for various reasons), EPAS not working (think its not being switched...
Indeed sir!
Cheers dude, I look forward to just driving it tbh!
Similar to my thoughts apon starting it lol.
Much to do before then!
Luckily I'm fitting a slimline fan to this (all I have space for!)
I'm not exactly local to you lol.
Little to update here.
First up, got my GAZ Coilovers..
Sorted out a few coolant pipes etc this morning, found I have a leak, luckily I have another rad as I thought this one was a bit s**t anyway.
Then, played with the wiring a bit, and...
Sadtimes, but I think we all knew it'd happen eventually. I dont think you'll even have to put it up for sale tbh, somebody who has followed this thread and has a interest should be all over it, its certainly a good one.
I'd get your box out, and rebuilt if its not too fucked, LSD at the same time.
Theres a chance of the box being screwed, it certainly doesn't make nice noises.
Hai :)
The spark plugs were fouling due to the very rich map on cold idle, so thats obviously sorted now.
Pleasure to work on, and shall look forward to seeing it ragging around Bedford Saturday.
I haven't read, but top mounts are no different between sport and non sport at all.
Looks to me like OP has done something wrong/missed something.
Remove coilover, photograph top mount etc
Nope, i'm with Scott on this. I actually dislike the larger pedals anyway, I'll be keeping standards, plus I have no problem with heel-toeing the Clio's anyway. It really, really, really wouldn't suit Scotts car.
Cheers dude, Which PH1 tho? lol
As I'm here... hes a mini update....
How damn sexy are these!
Built one up...
And fitted that, Loads of other bits have been sorted too..
To-Do list is looking good now.
Bleed clutch (its right at the bottom atm)
Wire up throttle pedal
Wire up cruise...
I've had it where the faces of discs have been painted, as they've got hot etc its caused the paint to soften and the spacer bolts to loosen.
I'd run the spacers, but beware and consider removing if you have any issues. Ive run 25mm spacers on mine with no issue for over 30k inc trackdays.
A lot of the spacer issues comes from faces not being perfectly clean between disk and hub.
Looks awesome though, and I know your feels about the gearbox, got one back from Agency leaking!
Would be a good time to get a few more bits done on it, like supertech valves, obviously give it a full clean up and de-coke, plus a bit more painting.
Tis awesome.
