Complete waste of time even wanting to do this. The cost of mapping a stock ecu is expensive and I am sure others will agrew yiu cant with out a lot of time get it perfect. Bu the time you do you could have a aftermarket ecu

Jam a pencil in the crank pin. Use a caramac nibbled to the shape of a horse shoe for the cams. And loosen it alll off... windy gun every thing up ft. And your sorted. Of course this isnt advice just a ideal :)

Why is it that when your looking for a cheap 172 with mechanical issues you cant find one!! i thought it would be easy but some people are wanting far to much money for what id say wasn't worth the value been if it was running! looking £1K under, paint work issues, mechanical are not a issue...
