Anyone got some lightweight bolts? I know u can get titanium nuts but what about bolts? I know it may not be worth it but just wondering! Links anyone?

I have recently taken out back seats, spare wheel and kit. Was thinking about taking all the trim out but is it really worth it? I am thinking that if I take to much out will effect the balance of the car? Whats people views?

I bought the car like it, the midpipe is standard and yup it is rotten! Not bad sound tho. Might have to invest in a cat back system or a full system for track and keep this for mot!

I have just had a few things resprayed, and they look mint. Only trouble is they stick out like a sore thumb against other parts. So I am gonna have a go at clay baring my paint work to bring that up but is there anyway of taking a bit of the shine off the new bits. New bits r wing mirrors and...

Yes you can buy new covers, about a tenner. I have to check my engine mounts as I have a horrible vibration at high revs, been told its engine mounts!

I have 2 keys and it does this with one and is totaly fine with the other. I am putting it down to the imoboliser. Guess in your case it wouldnt be this as u r using the same key everytime??

Just been to my local exhaust and tyre centre, they say the only midpipe is main dealer and £275!!!! Can you be serious??? Aftermarket full exhaust for me then or custom!!!

I am thinking about getting my 172 ph1 decated as I think it is a good mod for the money. The only thing is that I wanna run it on the track at Castle Combe and they have a noise limit of 100db. Anyone know if this might be to loud? I have a standard exhaust and standard airbox.

Piece of piss for u maybe but it looks like some has tried to take my one off before with the wrong torx bit. Rounded off one of the bolts now I am left to try and get it off! Any ideas anyone??

I have 2 keys for my 172 ph1. One the central locking doesnt work (insides all broke) but it starts the engine fine. The Other opens the doors with the central locking and starts the engine but it dies straight away. Now I guess this it to do with the imoboliser. Can anyone shed some light?
