I can only repete what everyone has said. No pas is a s**te idea. Driven a few Clios with it removed/disabled and its horrid. Some sticky tyres and some ability and you'd struggle to hang on in a fast bend.
If you go for something like a Gripper diff yes. again at a cost. There are alternate FD's available at around 1000 euros, not sure what diffs they fit tho. But there is no 'Stock' Renault ratio that is better than the 182 one. Bare in mind if you lower the FD ratio, 1st gear will be come...
not using jc5 no. Spent months researching it and came up with a shorter 5th gear for ours (Race only)
There is lots available aftermarket but the way the box is made makes it very expensive as ratios cannot be changed individually (just 5th) so it needs a whole new shaft and costs £££££

We ran them last season, so got on quite well.
No idea why they get slated so much. Most people must be on about Greens and Reds that are not really suited to 'proper' use. Weve used yellows and blues and they are great for the money.
