On a phase 1 below the headlight.
you can cut the headlight support bracket in two so the filter has a line of sight to the little grill below the headlight. My old car made 180bhp on this setup with just a RS tuner map. Still had the cat and stock inlets.
Whatever you want tbh. Dont have to have what they supply but ive had or driven on all the setups and they each work very well. The road setup I thought was better than the stock dampers for comfort
Yes, depends on layout and surface. Seen/had that happen at places like Mallory, Oulton and Llandow. But never places like Donington or Silverstone. From our experience Donington is very easy on tyres
Can I ask that anyone who is not driving their car on track to park on the right hand side of the paddock please.
Side farthest from the track, nearest the toilets for those who dont know left from right
Rubbish for starting tho as they have no cranking amps. Designed to do a different job. Remember when we built the car we knew we would need to be rstarting the car when it was red hot in the pitlane. And possibly with fans and fuel pumps going and headlights on
Yes but we couldnt mount it inside the car easily then. They are also safer in a crash as no acid to spill. The alternator situation was cured by actually buying a decent genuine one that been on there for the last 3 years without issue. Not the crappy 'custom built' ones we did have
We're using...
Yea but one died in quali so we fitted the spare and that gave up mid race. It got too low on battery voltage to run at full revs 3 laps from home when in 2nd place. limped home a gutted 6th
I love how all it needs nowdays is a quick spanner check and the windows cleaned. Its a very solid, reliable tool now. Took quite some time to get it to that stage.
We wont mention the regular paint touchups it seems to need these days

Probably just the C pillar trim and stuff around the rear light. Cant remember what side of the car the wiring travels up the C pillar. Think its the N/S, anyone?
