Rubbish idea imo. Sucks in water in the winter and heat from the tarmac in the summer

Good point ... I know you kno you'r shizzle what would you run ? I've got the jms air box and enough pipe to make a ktec induction kit ... Also where would you take a cold air feed from? Standard?

On a phase 1 below the headlight.

you can cut the headlight support bracket in two so the filter has a line of sight to the little grill below the headlight. My old car made 180bhp on this setup with just a RS tuner map. Still had the cat and stock inlets.

Mine is in the same place, works well.

I've got a Revotec self sealing take-off just on the 45 deg. bend for the ISCV rather than a small filter.

  A special one.
Tom something looks wrong with your top mount nuts, if they are a nut on the top of a tube sleeve then it should go under the the top mount (the bit in the engine bay)

Nothing wrong buddy, its just a different type of nut, I've got the bits under the tope mount that you have mentioned. Like this nut
