Depends on insurer only a handful offer proctected NCB on 4yrs. Normally its 5yrs or more.
Ive seen some insurers offer protected NCB on any number of years (even 1yr) but the quotes can be very high.
If you crashed car B or C it would not affect the NCB on Car A as they under seperate policies. The NCB is on the policy rather than the person. If you had them all under one policy then the Claim/NCB loss would likely affect each vehicle.
When we do 2nd car/mirrored NCB policies they are always...
A non fault claim would not affect our premium at all in the slightest but i can only comment on Greenlight but other insurers may charge.

To be honest mate if you can get a standard car insured for £585 it's probably worth leaving it standard for a year to save £250 in insurance premium. A modified policy at 22yrs old is just not going to be cheap.
If she waits until June to get the car then being 23 would drop the quotes down...
Excellent that will help when i put the case to the underwriters. If you drop me a PM when you are back in the UK and want to sort the insurance i'll get in touch personally. (if you do it via our website it will automatically decline as your NCB is out of date so i'll do it over the phone and...
Accident makes no difference to us when its over 3yrs old its purely age and vehicle grouping keeping your prices high. Your £680 renewal is superb id stick with that if you want to modify, you wont find a cheaper policy tahn £680 at your age that allows mods.
Yes mate you can PM me
i cant really work out what you were asking me for when you copied me in the first post, i wasnt sure if you wanted a quote or not??

Thats the dillema really, If you have a standard car the insurance will normally be cheaper as you have the choice of all the normal direct insurers like E-sure.
I dont know any of your details like age etc but £425 does sound good...Although from what you are saying that quote isnt valid...
There are a couple of different databases when you do reg searches. If you buy insurance online you need to make sure the right model is listed on the certificate.
If you buy the insurance over the phone then the person you speak to should check the make and model that the reg brings up.

Hi guys looking to get some help.
My friend has got a clio 172 and it's showing the airbag and service light. The car was originally used as a track day car so had an aftermarket steering wheel and stripped interior.
He is putting the car back to standard so we purchased seats, pretensioners...

Its worth waiting mate as you will then always be on the correct year or driving....A lot of insurers give a discount if you have held a full licence for over 3yrs so next year you will qualify (rather than being 2 weeks behind)
Kind Regards
Neil
Thanks for the recommendation m
Thanks for the recommendation mate, we are minimum age 21 and have to have a full licence for at least 2 years so wont be able to help the OP this year :(
Admiral are very competitve at the moment for younger drivers so they are definately worth a try

As stated above if you claim under your own policy then any excess applicable will be due. If its a fully comp policy and you have a non fault claim where a third party is to blame you may have to temporarily pay your excess and then recover it from the other personons insurance. (usually if...

You could ask to speak to the person appointed in charge of "systems and controls" at Sky, that is the person listed on the FCA RMAR return who is in charge of managing the business rescources and if you explain the fact you werent called back 3 times regaring an issue i would of thought they...
Maybe different for us as we are a specialist and deal with modified vehicle, prestige and performance car underwriters, the sort of garages we deal with simply wouldnt do the work for peanuts.
I would imagine that Elephant (part of the admiral group) have so much power due to the level of...
You could take cash in lieu of the repairs as you may be able to get it repaired cheaper yourself locally. Insurance approved repairers do charge the upper end of labour rates which can push the car into total loss %'s so if yo have a local bodyshop might be worth asking them for an estimate.
