With cars becoming more reliable now and lasting a lot longer insurers dont really work on the age system anymore. They look at genuine classics for example you could get a 1992 Nissan Primera thats still useable everyday and wouldnt be considered a classic but a 1992 golf GTi Mk2 would be so...
Think you will struggle to get it onto a classic car insurance. Most classic car insurers are specialists and dont just go on the age of vehicle it would need to be a genuine classic type vehicle to qualify like a MK2 Golf GTi or Renault 5 Turbo.
If you have a daily driver as well with all your...
Thats great news, we have been trading in performance and modified cars since 1996 mate (i have worked her since i left school all those years ago) so we are not going to change the way our business is run. We pride our selves on customer service.
If you need anything throughout the policy term...
If you drop me a PM mate with your postcode and contact number i can take a look at 3k miles it will probably work out a decent bit cheaper.
Kind regards
Neil
When it comes to standard cars without mods you can use the comparrison sites and get rates up with the 1000's of insurers on there.
If the vehicle is modified or a specialist car like the V6 or a Japanese Import thats when specialists like us step in. If you have a standard new car with no mods...
Think the quote we gave you was on 5k miles mate, if you are doing less you may find it gets closer to £420 including protected NCB. Personally id be wary of the direct insurers especially if it comes to a claim time they probably dont even know what a V6 looks like  let alone how much...
If you cover all the third party repair costs and do not claim under your own policy for any damage to your car your NCB will not be reduced. You would have an incident on your record but listed as something like "no claim made cost zero". This would leave your NCB unaffected.
One thing to be...
I wouldnt recommend doing this at all if you have accepted the contract they will be within their rights to apply the charges you agreed to and getting them to take you to court will just damage your credit rating.
Best bet is to speak to the company and try and come to an arrangment that suits...
Might be worth dropping Adrian Flux a PM as they are a trader on here and they will be able to answer you directly.
The cancellation process and applicable fees will listed in your new policy documentation that you accepted at the start of the policy.
To be honest if the difference in price...
As explained you have to be free from fault/non recoverable claims to qualify for a mirrored NCB within the last 4yrs.
You can normally only use your NCB on one policy at a time so mirrored NCB is something that can be done, but only if the driver is claim free for the required period. (non...
Multicar policieis Its definately better than insuring the cars on two seperate policies one with NCB and the other without.
If you were 21 id say it might be worth looking at doing the clio seperately on a 5k miles policy with mirrored which would probably work out cheaper than with Admiral but...
What you could do is insure the 1.6 Focus With Admiral on a single policy using your 1yrs NCB. Then insure the Clio on a mirrored NCB basis, this means that providing you are claim free and cover less than 5k miles a year in the clio you can actually have the NCB discount mirrored from your...
We can cover roll cages mate there is no increase in price at all with us for cages and they can be added mid policy as well without any issues.
We can offer track day cover from £35 per day if you wanted as well.
If you cover less than 5k miles a year that would give you quite a big discount...
Stu
If you call the office on 01277 650866 and ask for Neil they can put you through. I'll organise the cliosport discount for you as well.
Kind Regards
Neil
Thanks for all the recommendations guys.
@StuOwen86 if you drop me a PM with your contact details i can get in touch to run you a price. if your miles is that low (below 2k) it should come back with a VERY good price. Our policy would also allow mods like Roll Cage etc free of charge.
Kind...
I'll take a look for you mate if you wanted to drop me a PM with your contact details i can call to run the price. I'll try my best to get your price down as much as possible
Cheers
Neil
It might be worth trying to find out where your missus was at the time of the alleged incident. For example if she was at work and they have records of her there it that would prove that she wasnt driving making your defence stronger....It would be especially handy if the work car park has CCTV...
You will probably find that elephant do maximum NCB as 5yrs or more.
With us we count NCB as high as it goes but the discount with us reaches maximum at 5yrs.
Kind Regards
Neil
Spot on mate when you do a full mirror NCB it has to be just one driver on the 2nd car (sometimes the underwriters allow spouse or parents at a push). Otherwise one person could insure a whole host of cars with different drivers all with mirrored NCB from just one set of NCB.
Would of thought it would of been high £200's in a lower rated postcode. but £350 to insure a type R isnt bad especially as your brother is named on the policy and benefiting from your Mirrored 65% NCB its honestly a great deal from them.
Sorry mate got your PM didn realise that you needed other drivers on the civic, I wont be able to mirror the 9yrs NCB unless its just you driving so leaves us quoting on 1yrs NCB which wont let us get near Adrian Flux.
If Adrian Flux quoted £335 with other drivers on the policy id snap that up...
No Worries yeah with the Manchester Postcodes we have an underwriter who just does pleasure use that will quote so hopfully can organise you a good quote.
If you Put your contact number in the PM i can give you a buzz to take your info so i can key it into our quote system and generate a price...
Cheers for the recommendation Knuckles
We can do some manchester and liverpool postcodes only if its under 5k miles and pleasure use only.
Doing TPF+T can definately save up to 25% off the price so for a weekend toy its definately an option worth considering.
Feel Free to drop me a PM if you...
If she removes herself from the policy it should revert to what the annual premium would be for just her Nan driving....Thus your monthly payments should drop massively once removed.
Kind Regards
Neil
We can do certain Manchester Postcodes but only if the vehicle is used for pleasure use and under 5k miles a year.
If that is the case the prices can be VERY competitive. If you can restrict the policy to 5k miles and pleasure definately worth a look.
Kind Regards
neil
