Insurance question

  182
Ok so the mrs needed cover for work using her nans car. So she's put her self as a named driver on it. She paid £220 deposit and it came out to around 150 per month installments.

To cut a long story short, she no longer needs the car, she's been insured for 5 days only. Would she be likely to get any of the deposit back

Wrong.

This means that, if you want to end a policy within two weeks of receiving your documentation, you should receive a more-or-less full refund of your premiums. But you may have to pay an administration fee, which is typically less than a full cancellation charge, as well as the cost of however many days you were covered for.

Unless they're going to be c**ts and count the deposit as an admin fee, in which case never go with them again.

Check your policy, it will say about cancellation and the associated fees.

If she removes herself from the policy it should revert to what the annual premium would be for just her Nan driving....Thus your monthly payments should drop massively once removed.

Kind Regards
Neil
