It would be interesting to see if you've got some kind of spacer below the mount as that’s what mine needs to work other wise the top mount will always touch the banjo bolt. It had flatted the top on the bolt on mine it had been getting knocked that much

Rolled and properly some filler as the quarters look like they’ve had a hard life 😂 few cars in Europe look like they’ve been widened on the rear even more on the rear.

Tailgate fitted, just need to rivet the latches on. The width of the rear now with the wider stubs and spacers, the rear arches are 15mm wider than on the blue car and you can see in the picture that the rear bumper doesn’t sit perfect with them. That was all for today as I’m waiting on parts...

Picked the car up today and the colour looks better than I ever imagined. The pictures don’t really do it justice, it’s so bright. Spent most of the evening getting the seat fitted, now I can work everything around that with the extinguisher going behind it.

Strip down of the front hubs this week after building up the cup racer wishbones and I found a few issues with what was on the car. Not sure why they’d pay for the job on the adjustable wishbones to them then not use the correct size rose joint. They’d just ground the pin smaller so it fitted...

Had a few parts come through the post this morning. Carbon fibre insert for the dash and some new bumper pods which will be getting dipped in carbon fibre. Also picked up some cup racer wishbones as a set of spares. The shell isn’t finished yet bit

Whilst it’s getting painted I’ve got some pictures when previous owners had the car and it might of been Charlie Butler Henderson’s car from the 2003 season as his name with on the ecu. Not sure if I’ll ever be able to find out but pretty cool none the less.

Have a search of Laguna b56 or k56 hub, knuckle or axle. Have to think outside the box cause hub doesn’t bring much up but axle and knuckle does

It will be once it’s finished, this car wasn’t great spec to be honest but it should be a good little car once I’m do with it. Only thing I’m keeping really is the shell, beam, wishbones, front reigers and box. Everything else is going to be new

Repairs finished on the arches and doors and I picked up the paint this morning so hopefully have it back on Friday

Adding dash shine to the dash makes it brand new to these I think. It’s a nice car but will never get that money, even abroad they want the cup racers with the st75 not Stdsa and fetch about €20k

If you look at anything f2000 or maxi they all use a similar style wishbone that’s fully rose jointed. Time will only tell i suppose. The pin snapping seems to be more common. I have thought about yellow myself, like the cup racer press car

Off to the body shop tomorrow and still undecided on what colour to paint it 😂 Subframe off and normal 172 on for the time being so I can get the reigers serviced and springs changed to my liking with a helper spring added as well. Will paint the subframe whilst it’s off and will source some...

Inside has now been refreshed, off to the body shop next week for the outside to be done. The inferno orange will be gone 🙂
