CEX will give you a £74 voucher apparently... https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SPS3160SEB003
Plus a few games has got to be easily knocking on £100 if you fancy something from CEX or just have maybe 80% of that transferred straight to your bank account.
I'm not too sure if that's sarcastic. If it is, fine, but you explicitly asked what the difference is so I don't know what sort of response you expected?
When I say cheap as chips I mean circa £30 a side from a trader on here.
The rear damping rate is increased: to match the increased spring rate... to match the increased vehicle weight... in order to maintain a suitable "damping ratio" (a ratio of the actual damping rate to the "ideal" damping rate)... to provide the desired ride quality.
There have been some...
Things to do...
Satin black the exterior plastics as things like the exhaust surrounds really stand out (the faded plastic stands out the most on Black Gold IMO. Avoid gloss black as that looks like you aspire to be the local drug dealer)
De-mist the headlights (800g, 1500g wet & dry...
The facts could do with... err... checking
£2000 isn't especially realistic for a well sorted 182
Cambelt is not £400 (wish it was!)
"Clutch should be quite light"
He has nothing but praise for the gearbox lol?!
"Common" problems section is a great idea but doesn't really cover the most...
Scorpion RS192 (not to be confused with the old Scorpion SRN019 or the new SRN019 [it should really be named the SRN019 mk2 or something])
Ktec Sport ("sport" = centre silencer, "super sport" version = no centre silencer)
Miltek (with optional centre silencer, obviously)
Or have one custom...
Can normally pay on the gate before 11am or some other arbitrary time.
I'm sure it will say somewhere.
EDIT: Oh come on. That was hardly difficult lol :p
Cliosport.net > CSS '14 > Tickets > Question answered. £7 paypal. £12 on the gate.
A new genuine Renault cat/manifold joining kit being about £17.
Plenty of threads about people being tight and buying pattern parts only for it to fail again after 3 months.
Hmm. If you fancy it whilst the weather is nice you could do all the above yourself for about a 1/3 to a 1/2 using club discounts. That's not exactly skimping on parts either...
Obviously you don't get a stamp, someone has to be in to sign for all the bits, you don't get a Clip test or general...
Cat D aside it does look like a very tatty example.
Gangster colour wheels badly kerbed, big scuff on front bumper, standard exhaust. Doesn't exactly scream that it was a decent one beforehand.
Fair enough, implying that you thought hatch-width tyres & FWD offered superior traction over barge-width tyres & Quattro was equally "trolling" of me. Back to the matter:
I presume you watched the F1? Think about those onboard heli shots that look directly down as two cars follow each other...
P.S.
Love the Molten (?) Orange,
Love the seats (I think it's the shoulder support that really sets the ST seats apart),
Very satisfying surge from low RPM in any gear,
Love the balance of price, performance & warranty of the Mountune pack,
Definitely a far superior all-rounder than a 1*2...
FLOL @ TRACTION!!!
And which car or indeed setup do you think has more traction? With any luck this could be as entertaining as the M3 thread.
For someone who seems to know their way around a track day I'm perplexed at your routine inability to distinguish vehicle performance with simple...
The S4 was later on the power out of every corner, and was gaining by the end of every straight.
Only on CS is there a thread about which is faster in a straight line...
"Renault Avantime 2002-2003" Possibly not lol. As identical as it looks as sounds...
I don't see why you don't just buy the one that says "Renaultsport 172 Ph2 2002-2004 - Front" http://www.ukpartsdirect.com/abs-reluctor-ring-430.html
I've had two cans of "we'll mix any colour" from Autopaint St Helens and was astonished with the match. Did several touch ups on 3 wheels, both with & without filler, and a total back-to-metal refurb on a 4th. Colour match was outstanding, barely needed to blend it in at all.
Obviously the...
Depends what you define as "additional functionality" or "Renault specific." You can't turn the gearshift beep off for example on a mk3 RS for example with an RS tuner, but you can do with Clip. Nor can you reset a "crashed" airbag computer.
It DOES have extra functionality over generic...
Exactly that.
IME diagnostic ability is closer to a generic reader whilst the interface and usability is closer to CLIP.
You can pay for various add-ons like ABS/Airbag module to get info that you'd otherwise have no hope of finding on a generic OBD. And of course being Renault-specific it's...
Gloss black is in danger of looking a bit bad-man try-hard when used on blue/yellow/silver etc?
Plenty of pictures here and on internet of Arctic 182s on cup packed anthracite wheels. Look much better than silver IMO.
I think you've taken two very nice things and put them together to create an awful stereotype.
If it was a 318 msport CS would be screaming to burn it. It just looks like any other half-hearted attempt at gangster/scene/euro/slammed/apparently-it's-cool-to-not-get-over-speed-bumps.
Even...
Place an ad in the "wanted" section for best response.
Think you have to be a paid up member though. Worth it in the long run for discounts, guides etc.
TBH I imagine you could find some on ebay within 30 seconds of reading this.
LOL at the Trophy stickers!?!? Bizarre...
Any plans for different colour wheels? Think they'd look massively less try-hard/pikey/typical-non-sport if they were in OE anthracite or similar.
Or adjust the headlights...
6mm allen key IIRC. Light grey coloured adjuster at the rear of the unit, be gentle with the plastic bits and do it with the lights turned on.
R.e. not needing to drive an FRP to know 8.8sec to 60 is slow. Gally appeared to be implying that you do need to drive one, though I may have mistaken sarcasm for a genuine question etc. when he asked if you'd driven one.
I don't know whose youtube channel that is, but there are a few funny...
