I was away to start looking for my own first system soon.
Is there a need for night vision or are these Swann and Hikvision pretty good in low light?
I'd Ideally like 5 cameras, two for in the house where wires wouldn't be an issues, one for inside the garage, another for the summer house and...
In lemans terms what you will feel on a machpherson strut setup is the car snatching at the wheel when you hit uneven roads, like holding tight to a country lane which is rough on the inside, it wants to rattle the wheel/drag you either way depending on negative/positive scrub IME.
Appoligies...
On the apple ear bud front.... For your standard persons ear they're not!! I would imagine you need a lug like a used candle to get them comfy, design over function gone mad there.
I'll be staying on my 6 for the time being, I hope. Ask me that with a 7 in my hand it might change.
I'd agree with this man.
Don't spend the earth but put some touches of your own on, surely you's posters can remember your first car, you just had to do something to it.
Painted side strips would improve it no end. A set of premium tyre's and original Renault wheels as another had said...
Sorry I can't be of more help, MM will have software to allow connection to a computer, being such a big company I wouldn't imagine you will get access.
Ahh okay, so is yours one of the "illegal" cars? Was you lucky enough to get some spares for it, I have a complete front suspension set up...
I'm pretty sure they ran Magnetti Marelli ECU so if you're looking for a diagnostics lead of some type I would contact them direct, or a local dealer.
Nice find BTW
I enjoyed my VXR, it was plagued with an overboost fault (made it faster) which turned out to be a vacuum pump, had everything swapped for new on that except the engine and box pretty much through warranty.
Get yourself OPC front grilles, it slaps the Halfords right out of them IMO.
Winter...
I wouldn't get hung up on what's listed, from what I gather Renaults part system is hopeless... Well experienced partsmen struggling with finding things.
If you're looking for particular parts, search a particular registration that you know has "insert here" part fitted as when I went to look...
No.... they might be now from factory as they ramp down production on an ageing product line and slimline their production numbers. I have spent months researching the difference and 172 cups have different subframes, wishbones, drive shafts and steering arms compared to the original ph2 172...
Cheers folks.
They rev out to circa 8300rpm and come on "lift" (Vtec) at 6200rpm, I see it as a Civic Type-r but it's cheaper on tax being a 1.8 litre, it is also more frugal if driven out of lift. They also have essentially a 140bhp engine before you come on cam so they're a lot more useable...
This is now up for sale, I have tried to update this thread but it keeps on crashing for some reason so I'll put up pictures later.

The car has just had a refresh for sale, front splitter painted...
It's a Honda colour, I'm pretty sure it's the same colour as my first car a Civic EK. Athlete Gray metallic is the name I think, I just looked through flip charts until I found a colour steering clear of any paints with pearl in there to cheapen it up. The colour itself changes quite a bit in...
Ahh my mistake didn't realise the Megane/197/200 pipes are already, in that case all you need is a standard bolt & nut to the right diameter and screw it through the banjo, Pte tape in the threads to stop seepage.
Or like Mark says, remove the pipes and put that linked plug in.
Pipes are...
been away too long but I'm sure this is the right thread.

You'll also want new cross over pipes if the old ones are getting blasted.
If it does cloud up again I would be very surprised of it being a head gasket having never heard of one fail oil-water.
Where they can mix is on the thermostat housing gasket as it seals two oil galleries and a few waterways on the same gasket... Just something to bear in mind if a flush...
Nice motor... I really appreciate these now having always thought they looked cool/quirky. I had a 15 plate 1.2s as a courtesy car for a month and can say I haven't had so much fun in a car for a while, cool to look at, the interior was a nice place to be (quiet which my celica that was being...
No worries, if I had just recently sold them and this came to light I would also contribute but the fact more than a year has gone? They were delivered to me in a magnecor box, looked genuine to me and they were sent in the magnecor box I never put a thought into it.... As with me I had no...
I'm sorry but I'm always honest, too honest I'm told half the time and it gets me in trouble, I hate dishonest pricks so I don't see how I have been dragged into 4th hand old HT leads being fucked and I'm getting the blame, they were working perfectly when I sent them and when MarkX received and...
GLWTS, I meant no offence. If you were closer I would consider it for my dad, it's pretty much his favourite car other than a vvti celica and Honda nsx, he's pushing 65 too haha.
Your Dephaser pulley sounds like it's gone mate, get a screw driver and touch it against the engine mount/dephaser area while against your ear.
Great time to get it done if you're having it timed up to do the perished crank pulley.
Liam I might have a new (to you) pipe down at coney hatch you could have for a small fee during the week, I could check tomorrow.
Worst case you just need a flexi hose with two compression fittings on it, cut your existing pipe at the best spot nearest the pump (with it in situ) and cut the...
Did you sell this to a boy from Aberdeen who's brother had an equally grotesque Saxo with the Halfords store attached also. I can't comment, I used to love those wheels on it.
It would be good to see someone complete it kenny. I would have snapped your hand off as the wiring and attention to detail is something else. The money is better in the bank with the way the oil is just now imo.
