Can be done with subframe in place but I'd do it while subframes off if you can pal.. When I did mine I dropped the subframe a bit just to make life easier. While your buying a gasket I'd buy a handful of spare bolts too just incase.

You'll probably find that the problem isn't down to using incorrect bolt types but the threads have been stripped from over tightening/torquing... due to them being a fine thread there easily damaged. Off top of my head I can't remember what size bolts/thread pitch they are but I'd run a tap...

Thanks... It's a decent exhaust system to be fair. I've always been a Milltek fan with Fords but with the Clio PMS seemed to be the one to go for.

Daily.... 16s:up: Main advantage to switching to 15s is for cheaper tyres for track days but being a daily I doubt you'll be going through sets of tyres like no tomorrow so it'll not be a massive benefit to you. 15s (i.e Speedline 2118s) can/do look amazing on daily Clios but to pull them off...

Not used either but from what I've read there's little between them... If your using the standard inlet go for 438s. 438s are smoother on idle too. 421s might give a little more top end. Someone who's used them might be able to give a better answer. Edit.. Just seen your fitting an SM inlet...

Ok thanks pal. These seats aren't going to get delivered until June as I'm on the waiting list for the next batch to be made. The VBD subframes, are the a straight forward fit? Any modifications/drilling required? How much and are they readily available or is there a waiting list?
