Done a search but not got the answer...
Has anyone fitted Corbeau club sports to their Clio 1*2 without a subframe?
I've been in touch with Corbeau and I've put my name down on the list for the next batch to be made (apparently there pretty popular) anyway... They said because there side...
Can't really fault it but the drivers side washer blank is wonky and the headunit looks a little bit too after market if that makes sense other than that it looks superb:up:
I would also doubt it's the lambda sensor.
A lambda sensor has zero effect on cold start and cold running as it'll be in open loop.. Once it's reaches operating temperature then it will go into closed loop.
Standard camber for front is between -0.15 and -1.15... rear is between -1.10 and -1.5
Have you got a RARB? In damp/wet conditions that can give a snappy rear end along with toe out on the rear.
As for setup if your not doing many track days along with nothing competitive standard setup is...
Went to BRAMracing after a few recommendations.. Top lad, even torqued everything up with a torque wrench unlike some monkeys who just do FT!
Don't worry about caster in red on front.. It's got cup wishbones so different to standard. Next time I go I might put a shim on rear beam for toe but...
1. From memory 1.2 Clios (mk2) have 5 or 5.5J wheels whereas your 182 cup wheels will be 7J width. If your after a second set of wheels for your cup 172/182 wheels are fairly cheap to buy second hand.. Lads on here usually sell them for as low as £100. I sold my standard 182 wheels with good...
Anybody know of or got any experiences from work they've had done by car Detailers around Doncaster area?
Paintwork on my Clio looks awful. Just washed it this morning and with it being a black gold once I dried it the sun started shining on it showed up every blemish... Swirl marks, light...
Have you considered an EP3? It's within your budget. Absolutely fantastic cars and the engine responds well to simple modifications. It will need a baffled sump for track though. Probably my only gripe with them is the EPAS.. Really vague with little feedback but I wouldn't let that put you off.
Guessing by your budget you mean the Mk6 Fiesta ST with 2ltr Duratec engine? If so don't bother unless you've got a lot of money to modify it. I've had one and spent about 6k on it. Yes it has an ST badge but in standard form it's pretty dreadful for track. Power there massively restricted from...
There worlds apart.. For road use the Powerflex is highly regarded as it offers big improvement over the standard mount and I couldn't fault it with the little time I used it on the road but once I'd gone on track I soon realised it wasn't copping with the increased demands of harder...
Sorry pal didn't mean to come across as though I was slating the Powerflex dog bone.. It's a massive improvement over the standard mount but as my car is more focused to track use it didn't offer enough engine stability or support for me as I was still getting a bit of engine rocking/movement on...
I get a whining noise from my box since fitting vibratechnics engine and gearbox mounts along with an evol (black/race) dog bone mount. Not sure if this is down to the mounts or not (hoping it is). As far as vibrations go it really isn't that bad. I did have a Powerflex dog bone fitted but it...
What offset wheel you got pal? Just fitted camber bolts on mine and getting it aligned tomorrow for neg 2 degrees... I've got cup turinis so hoping I'll be ok now.
Just some rough figures of mine.. I think mine has a fairly good oil pump.
Initial engine startup fires straight upto 6bar (on frosty mornings upto 7bar)
Hot idle (80 degrees) fluctuates between 1.5 and 1.7bar
Bimbling around town anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5bar
Motorway speeds around 5bar
Just cut it to fit pal.. I removed the ecu bracket from the car and fitted the battery cover to it, flipped it upside down, I then scribed along the ecu bracket where it goes off at an angle onto the battery cover and the cut it to the same shape as the bracket.. Then just filed everything...
The car does breath some oil.. Not sure if it a normal/healthy amount or not as I know nothing about Renault/F4R engines. I do roughly 6 or 7 track days a year so the car will benefit from fitting one. On these engines is it just a case or remove the black hose from the induction hose and fit it...
@flebay Never knew the 182 was a CH figure.. Good to know
So its roughly down 5BHP but the peak torque figure is 157Ftlb which I think is more than standard?
At end of day it's an 11 year old engine and I haven't done any drastic power modifications so I suppose I can't really complain.
Yeah it's mapped pal. 167bhp standard 171bhp after map at RS Tuning.
I did a full service in August last year and I also did another Oil change in October after a track day. Had belts and dephaser done in September last year at DDC Doncaster. I only use V-Power too nothing else goes in the...
