Bought my Clio 182 only a few months ago. 26 when I bought it, 27 early this November. But I feel like I'm 12 when I'm giving it some welly. The most fun you can have on 4 wheels by far.

My Millteks got a centre silencer, I think this is what removes the dreadful motorway drone.

You have a Sabelt wheel and aftermarket buckets seats. Think about it Adam! :banghead:

The Milltek doesn't drone on the motorway and rasps nicely. A lot quieter than my mates 172 Cups decatted Yozza race system.

Milltek specify their decat will only fit their cat-back exhausts.

I had the same experience with a VW! Everytime you took it for a good rip down the lanes, clunk squeak clunk.

Polish and wax makes a world of difference to a cars paintwork than just a wash. A clay bar aswell works absolute wonders. Nice job.

Best way to tell is as already suggested. Leave the car til the engine is stone cold (12hrs works wonders). Start it and drive off straight away. If it is hesistant, feels 'bogged down' and if you take it over 4K then let the revs drop & the exhaust 'pops' on the over-run then it isn't mapped...

The Milltek system with a decat is a fairly quiet system when compared to Bryera's decatted Yozza race system on his 172 Cup. Thats over-the-top loud. I wouldn't remove my decat (apart from when sending it for MOT) as I honestly believe the decat lets the rest of the system sing. With a cat...

When I bought my Clio it already had the Milltek cat-back system & panel filter. Never noticed any difference whatsoever after I had the decat installed other than it rasp'd more and was a lot louder. I've still got the centre silencer in mine aswell. Done about 3,000 miles with the decat...

I'm running a decatted Milltek & a Green Panel Filter on a 182 and get barely any noise and pretty much zero drone on the motorway @ 80MPH. Nice and raspy when you kick it's head in, but more subtle than the Yozza's.

I've got the same issue on my Milltek, but it seems the exhaust itself is forcing the pipes off centre. Tried and tried to centre the tips by moving the mounts but it won't play ball. I'm gonna wait til a friend is available and see if we can force it to align.

Have a look on youtube at 182 exhausts, see which sound you like, then opt for that. I was set on a decatted Milltek before I even bought my Clio.

The was also a caliper slider stuck. Managed to free it up, grease it and its fine again now.

I'm pretty sure I've narrowed this down. Took the wheel off, inspected the disc and the side facing away from the car was fine. I check the other side and: Now I'm not mechanic but that doesn't look normal at all to me! The culprit? Just need some discs & pads it seems (I hope!)
