Been looking myself as I'm based in Forest of Dean and work in Glos. There's Race Developments in Gloucester which I'll probably be giving a ring in the next few days to get an idea of prices for machine shop work.

Morning all
Would anyone happen to have a set of wiring diagrams for the Portugese epas controllers available on ebay?
Have a garage doing some re wiring on the car and they've misplaced my set of instructions
Thanks

Summer direction changes, and a lack of racing
Another 3 months have gone by and yet again things have changed direction, thanks mainly to finally changing jobs, a different ecu and waiting for an engine loom to be made.
A friend of mine is one of the guys who runs Motorsport Electronics, and...
Ccf for fibreglass panels, no idea if they're the cheapest but they are very good.
As for poly windows ACW are probably the cheapest compared to places such as plastics4performance or templar but both of the latter do supply fully thermoformed windows that follow the curve of the original...
Polleysport are probably one of the cheapest, admittedly they're et40 and only in gloss black but at £312 a set (without delivery). That's where I'll be going to get some more this winter

They're all the same @olisc97, just double checked against a mates 182, same part number comes up. There may be a slight difference compared to the originals Renault used but these work fine
7703002661 is the part number for the rail bolts, should still be available from Renault but they're only an M6 flanged head bolt, either 20 or 25mm length
I've got the standard servo and MC, but have replaced every flexi and hard line, removing the ABS entirely, and running full braided lines from MC to all 4 calipers (using standard 2 port master, 1 line to a T piece for fronts and second line through bulkhead into a bias valve and then on to...
@Hollidog, have you just replaced the original flexi's with braided lines? I removed my ABS over the winter and went to a fully braided setup with a bias valve for the rear brakes and it's made a massive improvement to the feel of the brakes, with a firmer and more consistent pedal. I did have...
Gaz gold for me, I had 800lb on fronts and 450 rear, have subsequently reduced the front to 650 after fitting roll centre correction kit.
Cant fault them one bit to be fair, I had to have the new front springs custom made as I couldn't find anywhere to supply the spec I wanted but otherwise...
Not as far as I'm aware, I've seen a few mounted in odd positions shall we say, needs to be within 2 feet of the ground though according to the manual (for the newer x2 transponders)
Thanks Rob, I did see you've had a few issues recently too ? hope you get them sorted and back out asap. Hopefully I'll have some positive news in the next couple of weeks
Thanks, I'd hate to think just how many hours and how much money has gone into the build but as I've said before when it's...
Thanks @scullyg40, it's definitely getting rebuilt (see the last update ?) we'll be missing probably 2 rounds but we'll be back, I try to stay positive whenever possible and you're 100% right, the car does go well and we'll get more out of it, theres no reason why it shouldn't be capable of sub...
Winters up's, downs and inbetweens part 3b. (May 19)
The final installment to get up to date
We got the car back, and left it on the trailer overnight whilst starting to think why/how/where something may have gone wrong, I should have mentioned in the last post that when the car refused to...
Winters up's, downs and inbetweens part 3a. (Mar-May 19)
This is a long one so but do read on ?
On the back of a successful track day it was time to tidy up the last odds and ends on the car and organise this years racing plans.
First and foremost, where to race? For a number of reasons...
Winters up's, downs and inbetweens part 2. (Jan-Mar 19)
With the engine bay virtually empty it seemed the perfect time to get on with removing the ABS system, and replace with fully braided lines from Pro Line Motorsport, a Tilton internal bias valve and a set of refurbed calipers curtosey of...
Winters up's, downs and inbetweens part 1. (Nov/Dec 18)
Time flies when you're having fun doesn't it ??, so where's 7 months gone then?. I'll try to summarise below
After all the previous bodywork issues we finally had the car back out for an early Nov trackday back at our local Castle Combe...
No way mate!! Sorry to here that, I'm trying to do some research before spending any more money. I've already dropped 3k on a complete rewire as it is ??
Hope the recovery is going well too
Quite possibly, I haven't yet seen it in person to have a proper look at, I'm just going by what I've been told so far. My 172 currently utilises an armtech cutoff, although with it's current rewire that'll go to an XR from cartek.
I was hoping to come across some wiring diagrams so I'd at...
