I'd have a chat with @Track-car-doorcards, for a few quid it saves the hassle of diy. I've personally had 2 sets, and have a 3rd set being done shortly

No relay or extra fuse for me as mine was temporary whilst I plumbed in a new fuse box ? I'm assuming it ran off the main heater/ac fuse as i never had an issue
I used one of the thick red wires, ran a multimeter over the plug to find the permanent 12v power and then ran it through a toggle switch and up to the blower, so it's basically either on max speed or off
Plenty of wd40 or similar, give it a little while to soak in a bit and then try to gently twist with some grips. Be prepared for it to break up but you may get lucky and remove it in one piece
This would require me to have a delicate touch, I'm a bit too agricultural for that ?? got rid of my spare bonnet too, so I can't even have a practice first
Top half of dash off, there's at least one guide on here for that, then you'll be able to see the airbag, for safety purposes don't forget to disconnect the battery, then it's just a case of unplugging the 2 connectors to the airbag (one each side), undoing 4 torx screws and the unit lifts out
Those PDP units are stunning, shame I don't have the monies for one ? do they act a fuse box too (assuming most if not all of the original loom has gone?)
I wouldn't have thought there's be an issue with just hardworking the brake lights in with the switch, but personally I'd prefer to have it...
Pretty certain the brake light switch is just a mechanical push to make switch with a power feed and return (to brake lights) if you've got any other wiring to the switch it'll be for the factory cruise control system (Can't remember if Renault made them all 4 wire plugs or not).
I haven't...
Assuming all the suspension is in order (rear beam bushes weaeing are getting quite common now with age) then I'd maybe suggest braking a touch earlier, I'm not trying to criticise by any means but I have found from my own experiences the difference it makes keeping the car settled on entry to a...
What suspension are you currently running? How old is it etc etc?
Are you braking and then coasting/staying off throttle as that can have an influence on some corners, and can cause the back end to want to come round
I cahnged the blower motor/heater box to a cup one (non ac) and then lengthened the main 12v feed, included a switch on the dash and done. Set the heater box to blow straight onto the screen and the wiring runs the blower/fan at max only.
It's a little crude but very effective
In a word yes (as long as you have standard brakes, some 15's won't fit over 4 pot brembo calipers), 15's are generally preferred as they're lighter, tyres are cheaper and have a better selection too.
There are obviously other tyres out there as well as r888's, and people will say that x y or z...
Wrong shaft I'd say, assuming you've got a 182 with 60mm bolt spacing on the hub? (Think they're the only ones to use the bigger abs rings
Renparts seem to be getting a lot wrong recently, I ordered a strut assembly for the Mrs mk3 last week and it took three attempts to send the correct one
I think from memory you need 2 resistors for the grey plug (2 pairs of blue/brown and obviously on wiring loom plug rather than seat plug) and then 1 for the brown plug. It's been a while since I pulled all the airbag system out but I'm pretty sure that's what I did
Castle Combe race meeting with Track Attack/Tricolore Trophy
Early May bank holiday weekend, finally our new trailer was ready, with a day to spare. Off I went to collect first thing Saturday morning, really impressed with the quality and ease of towing, I can highly recommend Brian James for...
Update part 2 March 2018 - April 2018
With the starter changed all was good, with the car tucked up ready for April's trackday, and with the imminent arrival of our other winter purchase due we decided to scrap the old trailer ready to bring home the new one, only to then receive an email to...
Massively overdue update time (can't believe it's been 9 months) part 1 Aug 2017 - March 2018
Picking up from last August we had quite a lot going on at work, leaving us massively shorthanded, meaning that for 4 months the car barely got touched :( the little time I did have was spent on...
Had an early morning eBay scroll whilst waiting to take the wife to work, noticed this on there along a few other bits if you scroll through sellers other items

Valeo will be more than fine, RTX aren't worth fitting imo, never seen one last longer than 12 months, there's a reason they're cheaper than all the others.
