My several demos have been fun but not enough to lure me from the 'hairdressers' car ;)
Booked a block of trackdays for next yr so I will probably see you then ;)
When Trophy was new, yes easy decision.
Now unsure as all 5yrs old, due susp rebuild, belts etc etc so 2-3K could easily become 4K.
Also after 197 would not go back.
Be prepared to try several compounds ;)
The 5 guys did this 1st set got destroyed on one trackday, 2nd lasted but didn't stop very well . Latest are fooking awesome on road & track & never give up ;)
172 7/10.
182 Trophy, the drive 8/10 reliabilty 3/10.
Renault replaced items every week under warranty! including gearbox at 5k?
197 9/10 was faultless & i hammered it constantly.
MX5 9/10 i thought i thrashed the 197 but this just loves it. 10/10 on track sooooo much fun :D

Got Donington this Fri & weather forcast is wet so thought PE2's would be safer. :D
I have the rs2's & very good value & playful on track.
Not sure what your looking for but have a look at Federal RSR's as these will be the next must have tyres.
Are used as control tyre in several race series, where 888's were used due to price.
You heard it here first ;)
