The mk2 solid mounts move the engine slightly further to the o/s-presumably account for a slightly wider offset on the diff casing or line up shift arm maybe? Not sure they mount it any further down tbh-haven't measured up and compared but looked a similar height up front comparing where the...
Nothing special len, just one of these:
Four port master cylinder - two fronts to the front calipers, one rear blanked, other rear running through the bulkhead to the bias valve onto a T to each rear caliper.
Rigged up copper hoses to the braided take offs front and rear with P clips...
But obviously a negligible amount if the same shafts can be run on either application. Unintetnional parts bin variation? Bar the rubber gaitors mine are the exact same shafts. Lol.
Chip, you've spoilt the fairytale, lol. Rear Cup/Ragnotti stubs are around 5mil narrower yup.
One piece shafts off the ph1 (oem Renault items) i stripped for running gear were identical length to the one piece shafts off the 172 Cup (again oem Renault items). Surely contrary to there being any difference bar the track rods?
Bit like the myth of the hubs with the caster...
