SLR Zoom is fine for me with the D90 and some fairly hefty lens (such as Sigma 20mm 1.8) I love them, carrying and setting up a proper tripod ftl ;)

Pistonheads have a good mobile site (news article on PH today), other than that I've not found too many good ones. Smugmug has an awesome iPhone version, which is great for me as obviously I have an account with them.

Am I the only one incredibly anal about website icons? I find it quite handy having direct access from icons on the springboard, but hate it when they just show a screengrab. Thankfully, CS has a nice one :)

Re: iPhone "must have" apps? Simply, racing line + appropriate speed. No secret as such, I just constantly race against my own previous best and try and improve bit by bit.

I agree on this. On a minute scale, I even enjoy my Ignis Sport more than I did my 172 Cup. The fact that it's slower but pretty much as chuckable means that I get to play around more, it feels fast at 60mph, which is exactly what I want in a car. Sport Ka, Panda 100hp, MX-5, Trophy etc are...

Re: iPhone "must have" apps? CoPilot doesn't lock if you switch autolock to 'never', takes 2 seconds, i'm always amazed people get caught out by that. afaik Tom Tom has the same 'problem'.

It's on eBay now ;) Currently booking/planning a trip around the US next summer so freeing up some funds. Going to rent equipment for the trip after my good experience with lensforhire when I had my Paris assignment last year.

Re: iPhone "must have" apps? CoPilot + £6.95 eBay cradle and charger = £33 = win. The cradle is very good quality considering the price and free p&p, really happy with the setup.

I wasn't going to anyway, was a nice 'wow' moment when I opened the page, wouldn't want to ruin that for anyone. Probably talked it up to much now, but as somebody who likes his togging, it's technically perfect, full of bokeh, well composed and just generally pretty badass :)

I was going to say, isn't this car just blatantly unroadworthy, based on lights and plates?! I'm all for interesting ideas/unique cars, but imo safety comes first.

A few more piccies... My favourite spot, spent 2hrs here and didn't see a single person, that natural 'bridge' will give way one day, probably when we're stood on it!

Rooms are pretty basic, beds, sofa, nice big bathroom, TV, balcony etc, about what I would expect from a summer holiday hotel really. Very very clean, they don't do shortcuts when it comes to staffing at the hotel, and that includes the maids. We did stay in Club Hotel Portinatx a few years back...

Hotel Presidente...VERY family orientated, but imo the best hotel in what is an incredibly small resort, so it's the one we go back to (3rd time), awesome setup there though, 25 permanent reps on site (2 football coaches, 3 swimming coaches etc), the majority of families we speak to go back...

Go for it, would be fun to maybe see them in print.
