I'm rolling standard :)
Organised by type, page 1 has my favourites, page 2 GPS stuff, 3 is Photography, 5 is games, 6 is audio, etc etc.
Simples, but it works :) Loving how connected everything is, took these and uploaded them directly to my Smugmug site without needing to...
I hope this thread survives, as I would genuinely like to know what jailbreaking achieves, and what benefits it has. I've no interest in doing itself, just curious.
I get the feeling it's partly used to pirate apps, which seems insane to me considering 99% of them are 59p a pop, and if you can...
Pistonheads have a good mobile site (news article on PH today), other than that I've not found too many good ones. Smugmug has an awesome iPhone version, which is great for me as obviously I have an account with them.
Am I the only one incredibly anal about website icons? I find it quite handy having direct access from icons on the springboard, but hate it when they just show a screengrab. Thankfully, CS has a nice one :)
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
Simply, racing line + appropriate speed. No secret as such, I just constantly race against my own previous best and try and improve bit by bit.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
I'm getting a bit obsessed with DrawRace, I'm now up to around 97% better than most in the UK on most levels, struggling to improve now though.
I agree on this. On a minute scale, I even enjoy my Ignis Sport more than I did my 172 Cup. The fact that it's slower but pretty much as chuckable means that I get to play around more, it feels fast at 60mph, which is exactly what I want in a car. Sport Ka, Panda 100hp, MX-5, Trophy etc are...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
CoPilot doesn't lock if you switch autolock to 'never', takes 2 seconds, i'm always amazed people get caught out by that. afaik Tom Tom has the same 'problem'.
It's on eBay now ;)
Currently booking/planning a trip around the US next summer so freeing up some funds. Going to rent equipment for the trip after my good experience with lensforhire when I had my Paris assignment last year.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
CoPilot + £6.95 eBay cradle and charger = £33 = win. The cradle is very good quality considering the price and free p&p, really happy with the setup.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
Ah yes, cheers. They pretty much cover everything that annoys me about it (particularly the lack of QWERTY)
dk - I actually find the GPS unit in the iPhone more accurate when driving than walking. I use Motion GPS when walking and although it's very good, it...
Re: iPhone AppStore must haves?
Where can you see what the new updates will be? Live Traffic is there but greyed out for me, is this a future update or additional cost?
Bought it yesterday as I had a 4hr drive, really really impressed apart from the bit where the A421 was closed overnight...
I'm assuming most people haven't read the article (or driven every one of the 100 cars in question), it looks at the cars that "best encapsulate the thrill of driving", many of the cars mentioned in this thread do make the 100, for example the 205 and ITR are in the top 25. Obviously whoever is...
I wasn't going to anyway, was a nice 'wow' moment when I opened the page, wouldn't want to ruin that for anyone.
Probably talked it up to much now, but as somebody who likes his togging, it's technically perfect, full of bokeh, well composed and just generally pretty badass :)
Page 087.
Enough said, best Clio shot I've ever seen. Great showing from Renaultsport in the top 100 drivers cars, as expected.
Anyone else got it yet? Unfortunately the print quality seems to be awful.
Re: iPhone Q&A DONT START ONE QUESTION IPHONE THREADS. **POST HERE**
Went to Bristol yesterday, replaced it within minutes, said it was properly borked. Sweet :)
Re: iPhone AppStore must haves?
I've been playing around with music apps, enjoying them more than games at the moment...
Sonifi - BT (not the telecoms company) app where you can arrange elements from one of his tracks. Very basic, but that just makes it all the more addictive to see what you...
I was going to say, isn't this car just blatantly unroadworthy, based on lights and plates?!
I'm all for interesting ideas/unique cars, but imo safety comes first.
A few more piccies...
My favourite spot, spent 2hrs here and didn't see a single person, that natural 'bridge' will give way one day, probably when we're stood on it!
Rooms are pretty basic, beds, sofa, nice big bathroom, TV, balcony etc, about what I would expect from a summer holiday hotel really. Very very clean, they don't do shortcuts when it comes to staffing at the hotel, and that includes the maids. We did stay in Club Hotel Portinatx a few years back...
Re: iPhone AppStore must haves?
Took the plunge and got Real Racing last night, figured that many good reviews couldn't be wrong.
It's epic, would happily pay £29.99 for something like that on the DS, so it's a bargain at £5.99. Handling is way better than it has any right to be (with plenty...
Re: iPhone AppStore must haves?
I've got the following so far, beyond impressed by what it can do...
MotionX GPS Lite - tried this when we went for a walk today and was blown away, amazingly accurate. Can't believe this sort of stuff is free! Missus tried it when we went for a drive, speed...
Hotel Presidente...VERY family orientated, but imo the best hotel in what is an incredibly small resort, so it's the one we go back to (3rd time), awesome setup there though, 25 permanent reps on site (2 football coaches, 3 swimming coaches etc), the majority of families we speak to go back...
