I absolutely agree on that point, but why a GP?!
My only other complaint would be that the pickup section looks a foot or so too long, almost looks like a comedy limo. A bit shorter and it would be pretty mint, imo (ok, they should lose the weighty scissor doors as well!)
Me and the missus went to Marwell today, had a great time but didn't really spend any time shooting, got 5 shots so not worthy of a thread, this is my favourite...
Is that real?! Gorgeous shot, the sort of thing you see with your naked eye and wish you could capture as you see it on camera. Not usually easy with the moon, but that's a belter.
Yup MPB are fantastic, all my big purchases have come from there and I can't fault them. Also traded a few lens with them and have had no problems at all.
The only other place I use is Talk Photography, use a bit of common sense (buy from regulars, check their previous posts etc) and there is...
It's a tough one that's for sure, but if amateur shots are good enough to be noticed and make it to print, I'm afraid the pros really have to up their game. I can't say I've generally seen a drop in quality when it comes to published shots in all walks of life, so I don't think standards are...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
Need a seperate games thread I reckon, but GeoDefense = EPIC!
Spent 2hrs on this every single night this week in bed (been knackered at work every day!), difficulty is pitched perfectly, when you're just getting good it slaps you around the face with an evil...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
Took my updated CoPilot for a 70 mile spin last night, never really had any issues before but still works perfectly for me, if anything it seems a bit more responsive. The ETA is scarily accurate.
Passed 5 speed cameras, all picked up in ample time with plenty of...
How the hell did you do that in a day? I've got 4 spares that have taken easily a whole day already so far, and I've not even got to the primer stage yet.
Once the painting starts I'm assuming that's easily a long weekend considering the time it takes between primer, paint and lacquer.
Bye bye Saab...

Loving the good ol' West Country commentary. Didn't realise how long a car would burn for, they must have got through about 20 extinguishers.
£9k for a virtually brand new Renaultsport...bargain.
At 2k per month I guess the previous owner figured it wasn't a very good mile-muncher, unsurprisingly.
Good memory, 12,987 to be exact, god knows why.
Favourites / Comments (as long as you don't wh*re certain groups) is usually a better indicator of quality. Most favourited has 62 favourites, 29 comments and 1434 views, and is easily my best photo imo...
Oddly, I do enjoy taking photos with my iPhone, trying to stretch it to its limits to see what's possible. I've been interested in going lo-fi for sometime, but couldn't be dealing with film with things such as a Holga.
I've actually just sold my 20mm 1.8, so now all I have left is a (broken)...
I've mentioned it briefly before, but has anyone gone through a phase of having no interest in photography whatsoever? One minute it was my life, now I literally can't even bring myself to take a photo. I can't say anything in particular has caused it, I just stopped one day and haven't even...
Spotted a very spangly 200 in White this evening, parked up on Yarnbrook forecourt between Westbury and Trowbridge.
Number plate confused me briefly until I realised it was September!
Not entirely on topic, but I did 120,000 miles in Clios between my 17th and 24th birthday, and I never had a single breakdown, major fault or problem. I only ever had basic service parts replaced when required. Only one of those Clios was bought new, and one of them was given to me with 70k...
If I remember correctly, Harry parted with his own cash to own a Trophy, and uses it a whole lot more than his Zonda.
Considering he has the budget to drive pretty much anything he wants, don't you find it strange that he bought a £15k car and hardly ever stops talking about it? What he does...
Fantastic and often overlooked lens, imo it's 90% of a 80-200 but a thousand times more practical because of its size. I wouldn't hesitate in getting one again.
Nearly brought a tear to my eye, the Vulcan. Parents took me to airshows regularly as a kid and it was always my favourite, last saw it as a 10 year old in 1992, so it was amazing to see it again yesterday.
Considering my 1.4tc wasn't working at all with my lens I was pretty chuffed with that one as I wasn't expecting to get any close shots, quite a bit of detail present...

Judging by the airflow and afterburner glow, he was shifting...
I dragged the 120-300 2.8 to this, coughing and spluttering (and completely giving up for most of the red arrows display, bizarrely) before it goes off for its £155 service...it's cheaper to run my car!
Anyhow, something insane like 350,000 people on the Saturday when we went, great...
On the plus side, it makes you appreciate how awesome shots not taken 6ft up in the air are, if anything, that's what I like the most about them. Plus you can take it everywhere, even if tripods are banned.
My favourite Gorilla shot...a) it's low, and b) everyone with a tripod was getting...
