yeah......don't think I'll do any combe days. Seen dozens of cars go into that tyre wall. Always seems to be moron filled Action days or japfest that attracts the big smashes too.
they're almost the same, but 438s are slightly modded for a better idle. They're exactly the same price. My old 172 ran 421s, and when I removed the ITBs I left the cams in and we got it working perfectly. First one on FBW throttle as far as I'm aware.
you will absolutely need it mapping. No...
assuming you're including engine internals in the allowed list, about 210-215bhp with high compression pistons, wild cams, headwork, and quite heavily reworked inlet manifold (and some extra parts for strength and reliability) You'll be needing aftermarket management at this level too or it will...
to be fair, it was recovered over to me as it's been off the road for a while. She thought the knocking was suspension damage from hitting a roundabout in the snow
I still think for a cheaper/midrange option a universal kitcar/bike dash is the best way. Plenty of info and warning lights available on them and the one I linked you to on ebay even had a fuel gauge if you can be bothered to calibrate it.
All that really matters is a revs and temps
BGA stuff is crap for anything more than the odd manifold gasket (hard to get wrong really) FAI stuff is also cheap and nasty although better than it used to be.
I use Victor-Reinz or genuine.
bet its the same thing we found recently. white wire goes from the ECU, down and along the front of the battery tray (inside the loom), up and into the relay box to one of the 3 brown or black relays (main power relay). Found corrosion pretty much the whole length of the wire.
bullshit, you don't know what I speak to customers about, you've just assumed absolutely all of that drivel. bore off. You're intent on bad mouthing me about absolutely everything at the moment and you've no founding for any of it. Keep your opinions to yourself, I will never have any...
Reminds me of something we knocked up in 2009 ;)
Got a fair way to go, ECU work hasn't even been started yet, but got some pretty cool tricks to incorporate
