I think for price and quality it would be best just to get new oem cup dampers as they come with new top mounts as well, as said they will be a lot better as well
I think it depends how much enjoyment you get out of the car and if certain things are stopping that. Some people as just said would of preferred refreshing rather than upgrades. I personally dont like the stock setup regardless, im on ebiach springs and am now saving for full coilovers only a...
What did he replace? You should make the video of each gear because it might be that it still has the 089 gear ratios and its just the diff ratio, Im no expert but it would be good try and rule that out
Springs, brakes, tyres, more aggressive alignment. Id just look for a steering wheel of the shape already made, custom will probably set you back a lot
Is the bolt spacing the same for the pedal box? Ive realised now that the 197 mc is around 4mm further away to the push rod than the stock mc. Im going to take the servo off tomorrow to see if it can be adjusted
I cant say for certain unfortunately, with the sale price it would be a good deal though.
These are the ones

Well the pagids are cheaper so maybe they went for them, I had all cheap ones put on back when I didn’t diy, they were awful, got brake fade within a second of braking from 120, scary. Not sure on rears but for fronts the uv Coated Brembos will definitely stay clean
Are they oem discs/pads? My rears had cheap discs and pads and were useless, I fitted just some oem pads and that cleared alot of the rusty layer out in the first outing, bite better as well. 12 quid off euro car parts when sale (when isnt there)
I got some HC brembo UV coated front discs and...
@JamesBryan
Yeah that really got my attention too about them needing bedding in again. I have that with ds1.11 too and wondered why they kept needing a bit of hard braking almost every journey. They were so powerful when I first bed them in it was unreal
I watched this recently which gave me a better idea on bedding/burnishing.
That guy did 2 heat cycles on his ‘street’ pads before there was good pad deposit
Hey @Tomotek , I cant find the aluminium brake lines on the atec site. Do I have to speak to them direct? Also If you dont mind me asking, how much was the line, was it per metre?
Ive just plumbed my system only yesterday and am not 100% happy with it, it was full braided but its my design and...
As title, if I press pedal in a couple times slowly revs will move a bit, if I repeatedly press it fast the revs go above 2k
When cars off the pedal has a lot of travel, you can pump it up and it will be firm but theres always 2 stages of travel, a complete dead zone as if the push rod isnt...
I put grease on mine and finely sand the area the pad slides on as well so everything’s as free as possible. I had to do this on my Brembos though to get more room after painting.
I will do mate. Hopefully it wont be too far away but cant say exactly when. I would of kept it but Im gonna use the dci rack for it being solid mounted
The dtw1002z, just a blip and the wheel bolts are not to tight but secure. That one has variable speed trigger too so it should be real easy. I happily use mine on undoing small bolts and hex/torx aswell
Yeah the right stops quicker, when engine on it completely stops the left keeps moving. But it was pulling quite bad when braking hard, the right damper so happened to be pretty shot so that could definitely have an effect!
I just had a look and the disc wear is the same on both but more on the...
@imprezaworks
I have a feeling it might of been the shot damper. I havnt properly given the brakes a go since but after thinking about it, it would make sense
When the cars in the air the left wheel spins faster than the right, right basically stops, I assume it’s the pistons not seated correctly? Brakes do pull a bit when foots down
