That dewalt has a similar spec of the Makita DTW1002Z I just bought. Its an animal, I hardly ever put it on its highest setting, theres nothing it cant handle.
I was changing the rod ends today and one of bolts was spinning around inside, i just set it to max and held the trigger, no problem haha
Ive just secured all the internal lines today and am making up the external ones tomorrow, should be done by the weekend but Im worried ill die. The fittings are very tight on the braid so I see no reason for failure but still paranoid
Right after taking off the front shocks and replacing the springs twice in the last few days, now its clear that the rear dampers will need replacing. Front end is nice now though, not too stiff but its th contrast, the back is like an old train carriage.
Is it worth it...
@R3k1355
I went with these

They came in an unbranded box and yeah as you say, the sizes are a little out like some other cheap sockets Ive got, but theyve been...
Well.. I expected the bolt to be a bit more resilient than that, the impact got it within seconds haha. The hardest part was the space I had to do it, would of been a 15 minute job otherwise!
Went for a test and theres some scrubbing front right. Happens to be that that damper is pretty old...
Also I got a new oem bolt to go in and 2 cap head bolts as backup but not sure about them as the unthreaded portion is less, they need to be 10mm longer to match oem
I only just put the fronts on today! I was setting up the camber and realised I had to be somewhere in half an hour, ffs 😅
I think this would of saved the other bolt as well, thanks for the tip :)
Thanks for the advice guys. I didnt get far because the bolt on the bracket holding the abs sensor one of the fronts was gone. Have only just got both front struts out now!
Just about to fit new springs and am a little worried taking out that bolt as o/s has snapped before. Although this time round I have an impact gun so should be okay, but is there any technique to tackle it the safest way? Loads of wd and small bursts on the gun? @Typhoon
I fitted the black engine mount and dogbount bushes along with a vibra techs upper gearbox mount and there is a definite improve with gear changes and throttle response, car has more feedback as well. But if you're not keen on rattling your brains out and shouting to your passenger then stick to...
Eibach are 132. They have all the torques for the different bolts/sizes and I mistakingly torqued up to 169 the first time haha, was no different though. Wrench clicks, one last check, turns another 1/4 way then clicks again, keep repeating un-till you realise that you're an idiot :expressionless:
@NorthloopCup
Appreciate it man. I can see how that would have an impact on the different spec of the models. Its unfortunate that they are not very available and over seas. Ive seen a few 2.2s on the proxyparts site form holland though
@NorthloopCup
This is another part number for them, 7700423103, which seems the face lift ph1
Some of the hubs have a letter in between the strut holes, C, D, O, G, thats what they seem to be and some dont have any. So the cup hubs all have D on them...
7700428004
7700428005
These are the 2 part numbers for them, just confirming they are the right spec? I see some have a couple of holes near the caliper mounting points and some dont...
I see a few tool company names around ebay and the more you look you see that the majority of them look exactly the same, but theyve printed their logo on them, some have no printings. Im looking at some impact sockets and I found these...
Exact same thing for me the other day, scooby engine business.. New injector in 3 sorted it. I used the screwdriver trick to the ear to hear if the injectors were firing trick
Dont worry about the wear, I was when I first got it and was holding on to it like I was handling a baby robin. You cant avoid a bit of wear/dirt so just use it! Its such a nice wheel, grab one off @R-Sport. before they go because they are rare!
Pretty sure one of mine is dead and I dont know how long ill have to wait to order one, Im not paying nearly 70 quid at euro car parts
If anyone has or knows where I can pick one up new or used just to get me going I would be very grateful
Tia
500 rpm? Wow, mine never went below 750 on a good day, its normally around 850 to 800 when its warm. But mines been lumpy recently, first thing I did was check sparks, they were pretty much brand new and the correct ngk ones, gave them clean but nothing, then put a new inlet mani gasket and that...
